Steve and Chase show off some spectacular simultaneous siteswap sequences side by side! Filmed in July 2010, at the WJF6 convention in Las Vegas NV, and at the IJA festival in Sparks NV! Special thanks to Chase for helping me make this video, and for being a huge inspiration to siteswap jugglers everywhere! Siteswap Anagrams

Filthy999

This video delves into families of siteswaps sharing the same throws. For each set of numbers every possible juggling pattern is juggled for 4 rounds. Filming was done in front of Hanger One at NASA Ames. The music is an edited version of Welcome to Lunar Industries (Three Year Stretch) from the Moon OST by Clint Mansell.

SITESWAP BASICS

thegoheads

Very basic beginner siteswap tutorial. Also includes some basic patterns that all jugglers should learn right after the 3 ball cascade. Hopefully it helps! This video was originally posted on youtube in 2008, so the joke at the end of the video made more sense when the description box was to the right of the screen. Ignore that part. Also, I mention some links that will help you learn more about siteswaps. Here is the only link you really need: http://jugglinglab.sourceforge.net/ Note: some siteswap experts might be unhappy with the fact that I explained the numbers in siteswap notation as "how high the ball goes" rather than "how many beats before the object returns" , or that I don't explain that 2s can also be thrown instead of just held ... My explanations in this video are an attempt to make siteswap notation easily understandable for beginners, and I explained it the way I did because I believe it is less confusing that way. Happy juggling! Video by Steve, November 2008

Siteswap Pinch-Ups - Boppo's Whiteboard

btiemann

Here's something I discovered while composing my thoughts for an upcoming siteswap-based tutorial for numbers juggling (still in progress) I call them "siteswap pinch-ups." I don't think they have been described before.

I have put together a four minute film of site swaps, mostly four and five balls, filmed around London. I am a maths teacher and the video is mainly to show my students how I spend my spare time. I have listened to their feedback. Please let me know what you think.

Sling Ring Harpsichord Performance

SlingTrue

A game branded as Gyro Ring in the past, here is a fabulously addicting prop composed of five brass washers (beads) strung onto a stainless steel ring. To activate this prop you spin the brass beads and turn the larger ring to keep them going in perpetual activity. The ring can then be manipulated in various ways to perform a large range of tricks! This is a improv set slowed to 1/2x. These rings were popular in Japan and New Zealand circa 1995-1997 but remained widely unknown to much of the rest of the world. A small selection of high quality rings are available online at my website SlingTrue.org Please contact me if you have any insights or questions

Go in underarm leaning in the opposite direction to the hand the staff is in. Do a shoulder roll at a slight angle and lean into the staff. As the staff travels across your neck continue to lean into it shifting your weight across. Catch under your other arm.

Something new and contact juggling after 11 months

markconigliaro

Well this is a long video, mostly because of the intro though. i don't want to spoil anything in the description...but I have to in the tricks list, so get to at least like a minute in before reading this. Like I said, I'm 2 days late, but that's because I was hanging out with the .org people on the 10th, and didn't get home until 4:00 on the 11th, and I had work at 5. Then the next day I wasn't home at all. So yea, I'm late, but I didn't use those late days to get more practice in. When i get into the ball juggling, I've only been doing that for a little less then a week, so hopefully by next month I can make it consistent. Now for the spoilers: 3 Clubs: Invincible by Adelita's Way 3:15 - First double throw 4:18 - Constant under arm throws with the same club 4:23 - Chops 4:36 - Multiplex start 4:41 - Reverse chops 4:50 - Reverse cascade 4:56 - Double starting throw 5:06 - Double cascade 5:26 - Mill's mess 5:33 - Flat spin start 5:37 - Green club thrown with an opposite spin .....Right after typing this

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick / non-breakaway - Luke Renner (no audio)

stringslingernm

Spirit Bomb Yo-Yo Trick Instructional Video demonstrated by Luke Renner. Note: this video uses a non-breakaway mount. The breakaway is the standard throw for the trick. If you're learning tricks for a sports ladder contest practice the breakaway toss to start the trick the other steps are the same. The forward pass throw used in this demonstration gives extra momentum and spin time for completing the trick. The audio is intentionally left out on this video. Yo-Yo used in the demo is a Yoyofactory Speed Dial. Footage shot in Northwest New Mexico on 8/28/10 by Filmmakers George Thomas and Thomas LaRue. Trick details: Spirit Bomb is a yo-yo trick originated by Jeff Longoria. Trick name originates from the game Dragon Ball Z. Special Thanks and recognition to Ken's World-on-a-String, Sector-Y and all of the sites that pioneered and continue promote the "Art of Yo!" through videos on the web
