I deeply love bbb but I had to stop practicing it long ago (2008) due to sustained wrist injuries and alas there is no videos of me in my prime.
Adam inspired me to film a few old tricks at Turbo so tonight I grabbed my balls for the first time since 2011 and tried to film them. I managed to learn a new one and do another one for the first time ever! This video contains those, a few old 3bbb tricks and a few 4bbb clips from 2011 when I failed to start seriously again (you can see the evolution of my beard)./n It's been a pleasure to see the new kids push the boundaries and I have no regret, thanks to my injuries I've started rings and rarely look back upon my bbb days even though they were amazing moments. So it's with no shame that I announce my official retirement from the bbb world, have fun doing it, I'll the happy to join you for a few seconds once in a while. /nThanks a lot for all your support in my challenge with Norbi, I've got 90 new suscribers in 3 days and 700 to go in 10 days! If you want to only watch one, watch this one. /nHere's a method to generate siteswap transitions based on where all the balls actually land; making them all work out amounts to creating a sequence. This is my favorite method, and it produces rather easily, all the possible transitions within the context of the throws that you've decided to mess with, either out of necessity (when throws collide) or by choice (when they don't). /nIf you're trying to come up with a way to write an algorithm for producing transitions, I would suggest that this way is the best way. It's deterministic, for one, and it's comprehensive, for another. /nThis is part 1... stay tuned for the thrilling conclusion!!

Filmed in November 2016 when we didn't have to rehearse the passing routine for Camvention any more and enjoyed our freedom :)

In Dresden treffen sich verschiedene Menschen aus aller Welt, um eines miteinander zu teilen:Jonglage und Spiel mit dem Feuer. Die Teilnehmer trainieren zusammen in Workshops, zeigen sich gegenseitig neue Tricks, sind in Kunst-Werkstätten kreativ, usw. Alle können gemeinsam Jonglieren und Trainieren als Anfänger oder als Profi.
Am Samstagabend wird in der Gala-Show eine Choregrafie präsentiert, in der Jonglage, Feuerkunst, brennende Skulpturen, Feuerwerk und Musik miteinander kombiniert werden.

In Dresden a lot of people coming from all over the world meet them together to share Juggling and Game with Fire. We came up with the idea of the title while chilling. Suddenly, three little yellow aliens with purple feet and white spots took us in their spaceship and yelled at us: CHILLelagh!! CHILLelagh! We were not able to resist the awesomeness of these little creatures, ‘cause they cut off our ears and made a drink out of them and drank it while eating a self-made bagel. After this little conversation, we took “CHILLelagh” as the title and they beamed us home, but not without handling back our ears in a jar.

For me, the concept of a "Look Mum I made a juggling video" refers to a video that is made, not to introduce any new ideas to the juggling community, but rather made because it seems like the thing to do. That is why this film is entitled 'Dave's "Look Mum I Made A Juggling Video" Video'. This movie is intended as a parody on the "Look Mum" video genre. You probably won't learn any new tricks, but hopefully you'll have a good laugh. It should also be noted that this video features neither my true juggling potential nor my true personality. They are both facets of a character that I created for this movie. Enjoy.

In the same year, she competed at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival as topmounter for the Kehaiova teeterboard troupe. They won a silver clown.
Sadly she died in 2004, aged 32, when her aerial silk rigging failed while performing with Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey.

Interception line changes are immediate - the juggler and manipulator swap line before the next beat. So, even if it is a 1 beat intercept with a line instruction after it, the juggler and manipulator change lines first, then read the line change instruction afterwards. They follow both instructions, but the order is important. So if a manipulator line showed at the end of the line: iB => M the juggler who was B up until the last instruction becomes M because of the intercept (iB) and then they stay M because of the (=> M).

Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles.

These can be done forwards and backwards. They arn't true elbow fishtails because there is only one beat of a fishtail at a time with other beats put in to get positioning. If anyone manages complete continuous elbow fishtails please let me know and i'll stick a vid up cos they are DAMN hard. The tricky bit of this move is getting your elbow across 180 fast enough to catch the fishtail but not so fast the staff flys off your elbow. (See also Reverse Elbow Fishtails)
