48 Hours of Practice - 6 - Feel Flux

Reeses2150

The Feel Flux! A new skilltoy off kickstarter based on a powerful magnetic ball, which thanks to science, falls slowly through the tube, and hence, you can throw it back up when it reached the bottom, and then who knows what from there! After receiving one after the WJF convention this year, this is the end of my first 48 hours with the thing. feelflux.com for more information

5 Ball Mills Mess Tutorial

TheOmnipotentJuggler

This is a tutorial someone requested I make. It is also one of my entries into the International Jugglers' Association Tutorial Competition. This tutorial is designed to help you learn 5 ball mills mess step by step, catch by catch. If you find the constant pauses annoying, you can simply skip to the slow motion parts and learn the trick that way. Either way is useful! Chapters: I hope this tutorial helped y'all! 5 Ball Tennis'

MichaelFalkov

A handful of 5 Ball Tennis variations. The first of these is a pattern involving feet that resembles [44][22]3, then standard tennis, next is 7445555, and finally 7535555. The foot thing could be more tennisy, and there are many other variations I could have added. I wanted to include all of the variations suggested (tongue in cheek) in the recDot post that instigated this video (753 & 663 w/outside 3s, and 645555 with the 6 caught and thrown crossed arm on one side). I recorded the 645555 pattern and some others that I thought of in a few runs, but decided to use this clip for now. If there is interest in seeing more tennis variations, I may record a lot more of them.

5 balls siteswap drop joke

If you throw a ball high enough, you can drop the next one, stop, pick it up, and restart before the high throw returns. 1996.

5 ring multiplex tutorial

JugglingIsNotACrime

Grip: - Pull the 2nd and 4th ring to the side. - If the rings are too wide, grap the bottom ring and shake the rings so they fall in the right position -Hold the bottom ring loosely./nThrow/Catch: - Make a pre-swing. - Throw the rings in a straight line. - Catch the first 2 rings while they are still high in the air - Try it with 3, 4, 5, 6, 15, etc. rings./nIf you have any questions feel free to ask them to me : ) /nMusic: Run On (WBBL remix)

5: a55550 two different ways: high throw, and kicked throw

btiemann

Here's the 5-ball siteswap 10 5 5 5 5 0 (a55550) done two different ways. First the 10 is a high throw, and the 0 is demonstrated with an open palm, and then the 10 is tossed to a kickup and back into the pattern.

5: Enter exit and reverse 5 shower - siteswaps

btiemann

This is my favorite way to enter, reverse and exit a five ball shower. From cascade 5, 678 is the entrance, 91 (repeated) is the shower, and 817161 is the exit. To reverse, throw 8181818 and then you can throw 91s from the other side.

6: 999441 siteswap

btiemann

The six-ball siteswap 999441. Note that there are 3, 2, and 1 throws of each different height, which have heights of 3^2, 2^2, and 1^1. The sum of the throws are then 3^3 + 2^3 + 1^1, which is the square of the third triangular number (1+2+3)^2. How about that? This works in general, by the way.

My longest run of 7 balls =) 81 catches (I dropped the 81th throw, but catched the 82th throw before the 81th throw hit the ground) If you have any tips how to improve the technique or sth else, pls comment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pctF36znNc0

7 club passing sequence with coloured clubs

brook_roberts

Alex and I do a sequence where the 3 green clubs are isolated in 4 different patterns. Start off with 7-club 3-count with the passes green. Then do 8677867 with the passes as green. Then 978 versus 972 with double passes as green. Then 551 popcorn (a2a67) versus 5 count popcorn with trelfs as green. Then back to 7 club 3-count. As they are all ground state, the first 2 switches just work, and doing: 966|7867867 for the first 7867867|978972 for the second preserves the colours. For the third, to keep the colours we did three transition throws: 978972|867|a66a7a6267 For the fourth transition, to keep the colours we did: a66a7a6267a66a7|b6266|966 I'd love to see similar ideas!
