Initiated in 2010, The Planet Diabolo Project is an incredible adventure which aims to introduce the diabolo art to the world through some exclusive video content. Recorded on 5 continents during more than 2 years, The Planet Diabolo Project is an anthem to cultural exchange and diversity. Envisioned by French diabolo artist Nico Pires and his associates Priam Pierret and Thierry Delaveau, this initiative has brought together artists from very different styles and origins. The final result will be released ona 4 thematic DVDs collection including: the freestyle movie "Diabolo is a trip", the educational part "Diabolo is a skill", the performances section "Diabolo is a show", the bonus mix "Diabolo is more". The diabolo revolution is now on so get ready to jump on an epic journey around the planet Diabolo!

Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles. Music is 'Heartbeats' by The Knife.

Here is my latest video which contains only 6 ball juggling. I started practising 6 balls in April-May 2009. Most the clips were filmed in May 2010. It's probably the technically most difficult video I've ever made =) I'm always waiting for tipps how to improve anything in juggling.

I've only been playing kendama seriously for 5.5 years, so it's obviously rather early for me to be releasing a solo video, so I apologise for my hastiness. I said a while ago that it's much easier to juggle with all throws and catches under the legs when you're sitting down. Well, I got my video camera out and taped myself doing some sweet moves. It's easy to do the simple patterns, but integrating cool 3 ball tricks makes it look really good--and makes it really difficult.

I made this video because I wanted to try putting some effort into the production side of things and because I had a bunch of clips I wanted to show certain individuals. Because I had no one in particular in mind to show all of this stuff to, the video has an ADHD feel to it that I like. For the record, the juggling here is pretty respectably difficult, the straps are respectably intermediate, and the wheel stuff is laughably simple. This is in line with how often I practice each of them as well as the total length of time I've been working on each.

One more year we bring you our Collaboration Video. Spanish diabolo players from all around the country and even abroad team up for an almost 10 minutes video. This year we pay tribute to Kukutza III (in Bilbao), an occupied cultural center that has been providing a mixed and wide cultural alternative for many years in a working-class neighbourhood. It's been evicted and next demolished in September 2011. http://kukutza.blogspot.com/ We also want to dedicate this to all the people suffering the consequences of a crisis and the ones taking the streets to protest. Don't give up; we can.
