I'm so excited to announce that a little over 5 years after its December 2004 release date, Luftgarten, my first full-length (31 minute) juggling film is available again for all of you who missed it the first time around.
It's an instant $5 download and all sales go towards finishing my current project (already 40 minutes long and still going) which has two small teasers on my channel already.
I'm very proud of Luftgarten and am glad to be able to offer it again, without all the hassle of shipping costs and post office trips. I hope you all take the opportunity to download it because once it goes this time, it's going into the VAULT Disney-style.
Seven sections on this film and two fun surprises. Intro, Balls, Rolling, Kickups, Rings, Clubs, and "Hard Stuff". Add to that "Dance Dance Revolution" and "2 Ring Torture" and you've got yourself a Michael Karas classic. Or should I say "klassic"?

Damn WMG on Youtube. Long live Juggling.tv!
I posted this in support of the Contact Juggling community. I haven't made a pure contact video in a while and I thought it was necessary. Fushigi and its ridiculous marketing/business tactics have taken a lot away from the contact juggling community recently. Things like respect, respect for the fact that we spend years on this stuff. I personally have lots of hard work, study, creativity (i like to think so), and sometimes pain (see, hard work) into this activity. I know many others have too, and I don't like seeing my friend upset over this attempted re-branding and simplification of our art/whatever./nSo I just wanted to say I am not going to admit defeat to this B.S. I'm still going to progress and do what I like and so should everyone else. The 2nd episode of Mainz Manipulation Mania.
This time you'll see the incredible Hagen, who studied at the circus-school "Etage" in Berlin before going to cirkus cirkoer (Stockholm) in 2003 where he developed most of his fine 3 club art showed in this video. He then broke his leg and decided to come back to Germany. From 2005 to 2006, together with Paul Lind, he created some nice 3 ball stuff. Hagen now lives in Frankfurt and teaches juggling and artistry at the Clownsschule Mainz.

Kris Kremo routine. I wasn't going to upload this, because he drops and quality is not so good and routine is online already. Then I think it's ok because even the best jugglers sometimes drop, and we can see he has a joke to use when he drops. He's good even when he is not perfect.

I came up with this theme after I realized that me and my audience like 2 different types of things, most of the time anyway (of course there are exceptions). I like small number, smooth and flowy stuff, not necessarily easy, but stuff I can do with 95% confidence. My audience, from what I gathered in public practices and youtube comments, they like the stuff I can sometimes do on a good day. Originally this was going to be a my favorites and best videos. But really, my favorites are what I like, the best is what you like./nSo I hope you like my videos! Make sure to watch part 2 after!

New ideas, new props, new life.
Had the idea for a long time to mix contact with other props (in particular the RDL props), so I gave myself a challenge of trying to come up with some mini routines over the summer. Still in the early stages but its somewhere I want to look into more.
Going to live in Japan permanantly from the 30th so its a kind of goodbye UK/home vid. After a very long wait its time to start a new life.

Yes indeed! I splurged and got myself a pill kendama recently, and after the first hour going "what the hell do i do with this thing besides spacewalks and earth turns?" i started to discover things, and then I stepped out in my awesome lookin tie and beneath the high tension power lines, I recorded THIS. 2Travel:/nA lonely traveller: Where is he coming from?
Where is he going? What is he waiting for?/n2Travel is based on the lonelyness of a traveller and how he deals with this. To make the waiting more comfortable a juggler picks up his clubs.
But isn’t it nice to have someone there to watch you?
The juggler uses everything he is carrying to create a fellow traveler, a friend.
The quest has started and leeds to a poetic play with clubs, suitcase and pieces of clothes.
