Things Are Looking Up

Vince

My friend Jamie who is currently studying film in Newfoundland came into town for a few days. Long enough to come up with some ideas and do some fun shooting. There's some ideas I've been working on for a while, some stuff we came up with on the spot and some technical things as well.

Tom's Juggling Music Video

JuggleThis

This is a video set to the Crystal Method track, "Weapons of Mass Distortion". It is intended for the juggling to be enjoyed WITH the music, rather than above it. This started as a rather obscure side project to my usual videos and only really got off the ground recently, when a friend wished me to help him learn how to use his camera. I'd like to thank him for filming most of the bushland scenes, and for drinking most of my coke...

Toss Juggling After 17 Months (rings for 2 months)

markconigliaro

I REALLY hate wind. I seriously gave up on this video after I had about 30 minutes of footage but only 10 seconds of tricks, because the rest of the footage was of me waiting for the wind to die down so I can continue. I put my rings in the car then headed to a new area to do the contact juggling video. Then I found out the new area is blocked off with trees so there was barely any wind. So I went back and grabbed my rings and shot most of this video down there./nI always forget something, last month I forgot those behind the back catches, this month I forgot some multiplex 4 ring starting tricks. I should write down all the tricks I have to do before I head out.../nAs for this video, I like how it came out besides the choppiness when I do 4 and 5 rings./nThe song is Coming Undone by Korn.

TricksWithHats: Plates - Twistover

TricksWithHats

Start with plate flat on your right hand. Swing it in a full anti-clockwise circle, twisting your wrist over at the top so the plate finishes back in its original position with your shoulder and wrist twisted to support it. Reverse the move to unkink your arm. It's also possible to stop the plate at the top of the circle and bring it back down the way it came. From the TricksWithHats archive

Trix with Brix

fleischwolfmetzger

This is a nice Cigar Box video we filmed in december 2008. It's meant to show what we are currently working on. It's not "place-the-tripod-and-juggle-as-if-the-w orld-is-coming-to-end", instead we tried take the technical aspect of juggling into account, but focus more on the aspect of aesthetics (and toilets) and the underlying music. I hope we were successful and you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed doing it. JUGGLING Christoph Baumer & Matthias Wiebel CAMERA Bernd Lietzow Comments are welcome!

Tutorial: 3 Count Behind the Head Passing

Mike

Our entry for the IJA tutorial contest: 3 count behind the head passing. It's a fun pattern we came up with in January, and the concept of using 180s with directional body throws make it a concept ripe for variation./nIf you enjoyed it, please vote for us in the IJA tutorial contest! We'd really like to make it out to the convention this year =)

Two-Club Thumb Screw, Knob-To-Knob Club Balance

happysmurfday

It’s 110°F in Tucson and I’m juggling with the sprinklers on. Recently I started trying to do a thumb screw with two clubs with some success. On Sunday I was playing with knob balances and came up with a trick that would be great if I could isolate.

Viewpoints

seb

Viewpoints is a video experiment for a future project I'm starting to work on. The idea is to play around with the camera position and the playback speed while trying to utilise the music track to enhance the visuals. This video is just a rough experiment. It's not filmed in a nice location, I'm wearing my day to day clothes and everything was filmed without having any clear idea of how it would be used.

Wis en su tinta

Wis

Film made for a contest. Rules: - 40 seconds maximum - a red "sphere" should appear Malabares en su tinta is the best blog, http://www.malabaresensutinta.com/, about circus in Spanish, at least I like it a lot. Consequently more than 1000 times a mouse has clicked the always longed for 'like' button on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/malabaresensutinta. This is my contribution to the contest organized to celebrate it. The sexy camerawoman was: Agata Bednarz :* The amazing music is Earl by BadBadNotGood Recorded with a Oneplus One at 720p, forgot to change it :( The crime scene is: An old abandoned police building chosen this year to hold the periodic art exposition Survival. Survival happens once per year in Wrocław, a weekend. An old building or environment is filled with strange art, free entrance, the chance to see an abandoned closed place, drinking beer all around the place, juggling all around the place, and there are even DJs...
