October 2010 saw a collaboration between the Ministry of Manipulation and Aragorn Boulanger, aimed at teaching advanced level illusion techniques combining Contact juggling and dance.
The 5 days of workshops at the Juggling Center Berlin, run by Ed Adams and Aragorn, provided everyone with a huge amount of information and ideas.
Everything Aragorn was teaching could be directly applied to the techniques that Ed was teaching. The perfect collaboration...

This time you'll see the incredible Hagen, who studied at the circus-school "Etage" in Berlin before going to cirkus cirkoer (Stockholm) in 2003 where he developed most of his fine 3 club art showed in this video. He then broke his leg and decided to come back to Germany. From 2005 to 2006, together with Paul Lind, he created some nice 3 ball stuff. Hagen now lives in Frankfurt and teaches juggling and artistry at the Clownsschule Mainz.

A couple of weeks ago I filmed Ewan juggling three stage balls at the
Durham Juggling Convention. Using my editing software I then tracked each
ball individually to highlight the movement of the balls and the patterns
they make.
The results were very interesting. Check them out.
I'd love to hear you comments on this video and any suggestions on how i
can develop the idea in the future. I am planning to film more
interesting patterns with more objects but i thought three would be enough
for now. I'll also film it using more light so i can film at 1/200 or
1/500 exposure instead of 1/100 so the balls don't blur. Any way, I hope you enjoyed it.

Wow, where do I even start with this video? I started the David Leahy series in January 2007 with the first video and carried on to make the next 4 all within the year 2007. The original plan for the 6th video was May 2008 but I struggling to improve and ended up scrapping the video. I got back into juggling seriously in 2010 and spent awhile trying to reach my previously obtained standard.
Anyway, Here I am in 2012, 4.5 years after the last video, and I've finally completed it! I really hope you enjoy it, I tried really hard trying to make this video reflect my juggling and even after watching it hundreds of times, I enjoy the final product. Thanks to everyone for the continuous support and inspiration in juggling; you mean the world to me!
I do intend on making David Leahy #7 but I have some big plans with TSC so it could take awhile. I do have like 16 weeks summer holiday though so I'm sure you can expect both around then!

The final part of the "Rhythm" trilogy, palm spinning as graphic manipulation.
I wanted to show also some new ideas that i work on, so some patterns are clean some are not.
New techniques used in here:
- quarter spins
- individual changes of the starting point (point of control)
- 1/8 spins (the diagonal spin-spin & anti-spin, the "cross" & the "X")
- perpendicular spin-spin and anti-spin
- advanced phantom patterns using the techniques above
In this video there are 2 Phantom Patterns analyzed in four different ways each (4 balls, 3 balls, 2 balls same colour and 2 balls different colour):

I'm studying in Japan and luckily I'm staying in the same city as Hirota. Since we can easily meet and our juggling styles fit each other we decided to make this video. He is a huge inspiration to me since I started juggling, so meeting him and recording this video was an honour to me.

I can explain myself with this one. I did the toss juggling shots first since I had different locations and the wind wouldn't let me juggle for too long at a time. And the contact part was supposed to be like 2 straight runs. So after the juggling part was done, my battery was almost dead. So I quickly made the 2 runs (about 3 minutes each) and also shot some experimental tricks. I figured that would take all 4 minutes of my song....nope...after some editing it totaled about 2 minutes and 30 seconds...so I had to stretch it out./nSo this is pretty much an instructional video now. I threw in some names for the hard stuff so you can ask me about those if you have questions./nThe song is Familiar Taste of Poison by Halestorm. That song is dedicated to the last trick I do in this video, it's my poison.
