Filmed in Krystallpalast Varieté, Leipzig in Oct. 2005. Luke was always against having his act online, he always felt that if you wanted to see it you should see it live. Tragically that is no longer a possibility and so I hope he'd forgive me for uploading it now. His work is timeless and I truly believe he'd be happy to let us all enjoy what he spent so long building and be pleased to know that his work lives on to inspire future generations. One of the true greats. RIP old friend.

Damn WMG on Youtube. Long live Juggling.tv!
I posted this in support of the Contact Juggling community. I haven't made a pure contact video in a while and I thought it was necessary. Fushigi and its ridiculous marketing/business tactics have taken a lot away from the contact juggling community recently. Things like respect, respect for the fact that we spend years on this stuff. I personally have lots of hard work, study, creativity (i like to think so), and sometimes pain (see, hard work) into this activity. I know many others have too, and I don't like seeing my friend upset over this attempted re-branding and simplification of our art/whatever./nSo I just wanted to say I am not going to admit defeat to this B.S. I'm still going to progress and do what I like and so should everyone else. Some time ago, a Disney cartoon called 'Recess' featured a yo-yo trick called 'Invisible Man'. As such, yo-yo players are often asked if they can do the trick. Unfortunately, the trick - which involves shuffling a pair of shoes with two yo-yos, doesn't actually work. However, the comment did give me an idea....

Thanks to the collaboration of 9 jugglers all over italy, and the help of Giulio Ferrarella for editing, now we can put online two versions of this video. Synthetic is a film displaying the new work of Wes Peden. The material was inspired, in a concrete way, by the strength of each prop and how to best take advantage of these qualities. The general aesthetic of the juggling was particularly influences by asymmetry, clarity, and trick shape.

One more year we bring you our Collaboration Video. Spanish diabolo players from all around the country and even abroad team up for an almost 10 minutes video.
This year we pay tribute to Kukutza III (in Bilbao), an occupied cultural center that has been providing a mixed and wide cultural alternative for many years in a working-class neighbourhood. It's been evicted and next demolished in September 2011. http://kukutza.blogspot.com/
We also want to dedicate this to all the people suffering the consequences of a crisis and the ones taking the streets to protest. Don't give up; we can.

Projekt NMN is a research on control, substance and sanctity, inspired by art, religions and beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe.
Projekt NMN mixes physical theater with juggling, live music and questioning laughter. It is a dialogue between three jugglers and a folk musician concerning objects, riddles, puzzles and other important things.
Projekt NMN is true poetry of contemporary circus, a visual poem of all that exists.

Home movie footage of Rob Murray practising in a garden. In his later years, Murray was known for his laid-back style of comedy juggling, so it is interesting to see him working on more technical tricks here, including 6 & 7 balls. Music is "Ultrafox" by Django Reinhart, tacked on purely because it was the right era, and the right length. Much thanks to Topper and LP for helping to bring this clip to light. Hope you enjoy the video. Also, please spare me the "unicycle" suggestion comments or "you should have done a 3 ball cascade" while riding no-handed comments. If you don't know anything about triathlons, then those comments are very naive, because you have no idea what a race like this entails. I spent 10 months training, researching, and fine tuning what works. Until you actually get out there and see what "works" then try to understand that what looks good on paper, doesn't always translate into good practice. Enjoy! -Joe
