Filmed just after sunset on a cloudy day near Cottesloe Beach in Perth. The music is Sunset Juggling by David Edwards (my uncle).
The creature in the background is some sort of sea lion and is visible from the start until 2:30 and then very briefly around 4:22.
The balls are programmable Ultimate Globalls which were synchronized with the timing of the tricks.

Synthetic is a film displaying the new work of Wes Peden. The material was inspired, in a concrete way, by the strength of each prop and how to best take advantage of these qualities. The general aesthetic of the juggling was particularly influences by asymmetry, clarity, and trick shape.

The first bit didn't get recorded so I had to put it a little video in from a different performance of the same routine. I was training in Stockholm in the now, during the summer abandoned circus hall. I decided to film one day and this is the result. It's basically just technique I am working on lately./nAnd there's a bonus material of the most un-clean 7 club flash in the history of juggling! :)
Unfortunately I didn't get any cleaner one on tape that day so I can't say that I'm any better! :)/nMusic: Brand new hate, cover by Peter Åberg.

New Flip HD! Started working on them properly today, after 5 million tries got some that almost looked right. Maybe make another in a month to see if theres any difference...doubtful. I'm going to learn the bastard though even if it kills me.

More ideas and the discovery I can walk around while doing ballstalls. Got it first try on camera!/nEdit - I may well have used this song before, oops! But sod it I like it and it fits a lot better this time round.

New ideas, new props, new life.
Had the idea for a long time to mix contact with other props (in particular the RDL props), so I gave myself a challenge of trying to come up with some mini routines over the summer. Still in the early stages but its somewhere I want to look into more.
Going to live in Japan permanantly from the 30th so its a kind of goodbye UK/home vid. After a very long wait its time to start a new life.
