(Farmington, New Mexico), registration will be at 5:30 p.m. with the contest beginning at 5:45 p.m. outside the Farmington Museum during Freedom Days! See String Theory in Action! While enjoying the Farmington Museum Foundation Ice Cream Social, take a moment to cheer on the string slingers at the Farmington Museum. The Yo Down Show Down will showcase the skills of some of our youngest museum patrons and is also open to all ages and skill levels. The contest is free to enter and is a bring your own yo-yo event. Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public.
Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.

During Spring 2011, Gandini Juggling performed aslo "Quartet", a collaboration with L'Ensemble de Basse Normandie (Dominique Debard).

From forward with the right hand when the staff comes in front of you start the movement off as if you were going to do a 180 fishtail, but instead of taking the staff behind you (on the other side) you do a quick 360 and tuck your hand behind your head then go back into forward fishtails (it feels a bit like you untwisting your body underneth the staff). p.s. you don't really need to hold your chest wheil doing this move

I start by showing the normal move I am doing/attempting, then proceed with attempted BtN variations of that move.

This is my favorite new move at the moment. Do the first half of a full matrix and you will find the staff wants to go behind your neck if you don't lean into the second half straight away. Let it go behind you and lean to the left to get it back in front of you (an extra spin on the back can help line up the centre point) and then do the second half of the matrix.

Do a steve with an extra spin on the neck and use that extra spin to get round your throat (giving the staff a little pinch with your shoulder and chin gives it more momentum). Lean to the right to allow the staff to pivot back round to the back of your neck and finish the steve.

Na workshopy a přednášky jsou vybíráni jedni z nejatraktivnějších lektorů v daných žonglérských oborech. Jednotlivé lekce jsou tvořeny tak, aby účastníci rychle a efektivně pochopili přednášený předmět lekce. /nPřednášky a workshopy jsou určeny spíše pro pokročilejší žongléry, kteří se chtějí dále rozvíjet v žonglérském umění, ale pro začátečníky budou velmi poučné a hodně si z nich odnesou.

BoB (Bristols Other Bristol) Juggling convention in the UK, 1999 (BoB1) was held in the University of Bristol Students Union, and the show was in The Winston Theater.
I've made no attempt to contact the performers in this 16 year old video, so if you're in this video and would prefer I took it down - please say so and I will remove it!
NB - This video is a bit dark, because UV staff doesn't really show up very well on 1990s video camera equipment. It's included in this collection for completeness
