Promote the "Art of Yo" in the Four Corners during the 11th Annual Yo-Yo Contest at the Farmington Museum 3041. (Farmington, New Mexico), registration will be at 5:30 p.m. with the contest beginning at 5:45 p.m. outside the Farmington Museum during Freedom Days! See String Theory in Action! While enjoying the Farmington Museum Foundation Ice Cream Social, take a moment to cheer on the string slingers at the Farmington Museum. The Yo Down Show Down will showcase the skills of some of our youngest museum patrons and is also open to all ages and skill levels. The contest is free to enter and is a bring your own yo-yo event. MagicYoYo N12 Shark - Currently working on a tutorial using the N12 Shark. However; I'm having a difficult time putting the N12 down long enough to work on the tutorial. A tiny bit easier than a matrix because you are turning into the staff. Look at the points you need to start turning, they are when you start leaning back to get it under the arm. Again very hard to get smooth.

Haymaker Yo-Yo Trick -Luke Renner. A trick that is fun to perform and features various catches. The Haymaker requires a non-responsive yo-yo. The yo-yo used by Luke Renner is the MagicYoYo N8. Special Thanks to MagicYoYo in Shenzen! String is 50/50 slick string courtesy of Shannon Jackson. Filmed outside in Northwest New Mexico in August 2012.
