Another good move to start with, this is just a reverse elbow wrap followed by a forwards elbow wrap but in wall plane (spinning in front of you as if you were facing a wall). As with all contact, don't let go of the staf untill your hand is touching the contact point (in this case the outside of your elbow). This helps give a nice smooth contact roll. As the video shows this move can be done with hands apart (adding an extra beat) or together. It also leads nicly into pivots.

Cool scenes and slings around and about Crater Lake National Park (featuring a cameo from Mt. Shasta to the south)./nSling ring is an awesome game where five brass washers are spun on a larger ring and kept in perpetual 'jitter' by moving that larger ring through them continuously. A devil sticking video I put together to in a few hours…no choreography, just flowing. Haven't really practiced all that much recently but have wanted to do a video for a while. I have a unique style that combines, spins, traps, contact and high tosses, along with a little bit of smooth style….Stick life baby!!!

(original youtube description)Three of the Pontefract diaboloists popped around last Saturday and we had a bit of a session.
This video is maybe the first chance a lot of people will have had to see what kind of stuff the Ponte lot do. In this vid its mainly Minig and fan stuff but some slack knot stuff and the odd other thing gets a look in. Very casual and relaxed is the vibe. I lengthened my string just for the occasion.

(I made this about a year ago, it was a classic 'lets film some stuff so that we can see what we should film for a proper video... lets make a rough video... lets put it out anyway' It's long and very fan heavy but the tunes nice. (Oh it's also the diabolo video with the most hits on youtube - 217,960- which I guess I'll have to learn to live with))
