These can be done forwards and backwards. They arn't true elbow fishtails because there is only one beat of a fishtail at a time with other beats put in to get positioning. If anyone manages complete continuous elbow fishtails please let me know and i'll stick a vid up cos they are DAMN hard. The tricky bit of this move is getting your elbow across 180 fast enough to catch the fishtail but not so fast the staff flys off your elbow. (See also Reverse Elbow Fishtails)

Drilling BtN (behind the neck) variations of things. It's still bumpy but progress is being made, slowly but surely. Posting on the web for concrit and tips from other jugglers.
I start by showing the normal move I am doing/attempting, then proceed with attempted BtN variations of that move.

Stalling fishtails is a nice way to go into other moves and can be the saving grace when you cock them up. If the staff starts sliding off your hand go into a stall and strike some cheesy pose (everybody loves cheese) and then just carry on. Throws are quite nice from stalls but you can also go into a halo roll or many varients thereof

This was the first move i learnt, it bruised my shoulder for about 2 weeks learning it but it gave me a good understanding of how a staff behaves on my back. Do a neck roll fairly horizontally and when you can see the staff coming round in the corner of your eye, lean to the left and bring your right shoulder up and catch under your arm with your right hand. After you've got this move try a 1/4 steve.

Projekt Juggl.ING je vytvořen za účelem rozvoje znalosti žonglérské teorie, pojmů, zásoby triků s různými nástroji, práce s výrazem a tvorbou show./nHlavní myšlenkou projektu Juggl.ING je rozšíření žonglérské komunity. Na workshopy a přednášky jsou vybíráni jedni z nejatraktivnějších lektorů v daných žonglérských oborech. Jednotlivé lekce jsou tvořeny tak, aby účastníci rychle a efektivně pochopili přednášený předmět lekce. /nPřednášky a workshopy jsou určeny spíše pro pokročilejší žongléry, kteří se chtějí dále rozvíjet v žonglérském umění, ale pro začátečníky budou velmi poučné a hodně si z nich odnesou.

Do a steve with an extra spin on the neck and use that extra spin to get round your throat (giving the staff a little pinch with your shoulder and chin gives it more momentum). Lean to the right to allow the staff to pivot back round to the back of your neck and finish the steve.
