My new video of diabolo.
Nothing really new or stunning, just my progress with 3 diabolos and some ideas what I found during this year with 1 and 2 diabolos.

A good place to start before moving onto the steve. Do a neck roll and as the staff comes around onto your shoulder, drop that shoulder and let the staff roll onto your arm. Raise your arm with the staff (when the staff gets onto your arm it should be just below shoulder height, when the staff finnishes in your hand it should be just above head height) so that it rolls up it and into your hand.

AH-HA!!! I have not dropped off the face of the planet, despite the rumors, I have not been eaten by a giant text book either, or moved to Jamaica!!!! Anyway.... about the video. Got an iPhone 6, so decided to make the most of the slomo function to show some ideas which are hard to see at full speed. Video tends to flicker unless it is done with natural light, but at least you can see the tricks clearly.

After dropping stuff for years in the US, I took my juggling overseas, but alas. Gravity proved to be equally challenging all over the world. At least I found some beautiful backgrounds. I even cascaded (clubs) in front of a cascade (waterfall)!
Thanks to all who helped me film this stuff from 2002 to 2005. Thanks to Enya for this tune, "Storms in Africa" (sorry Ms Enya that I don't have Africa on here).
