A little doublestaff compilation from a training session early this year.
I'm not quite sure how to describe this style. Some people just call it old school spinning. I'd like to coin it power spinning if i may.... sounds like a fitness fad though..
Shot in the training room of Cirque du Soleil's Zaia show, which was at the Venetian Macau before sadly shutting down in March this year.

Haymaker Yo-Yo Trick -Luke Renner. A trick that is fun to perform and features various catches. The Haymaker requires a non-responsive yo-yo. The yo-yo used by Luke Renner is the MagicYoYo N8. Special Thanks to MagicYoYo in Shenzen! String is 50/50 slick string courtesy of Shannon Jackson. Filmed outside in Northwest New Mexico in August 2012. The outside wind speed when the trick was filmed was around 6mph from the NW. The Haymaker is much easier to perform indoors without the wind factor. Music courtesy of Stuart and the Juice Tigers.

Rather than try to describe it, the community of ContactJuggling.org began this project to show you how each of us sees Contact Juggling. I filmed this during my vacation to croatia this week. Because I didn't have a lot of time to film and it because it was really hot I decided to film a little story 4, because it only required one location. You won't see any new stuff in this video, but you will see some hard combo stuff, mainly with 3.
However I have come up with lots of ideas since limits and probably will make a new proper video soon ;).

2Travel:/nA lonely traveller: Where is he coming from?
Where is he going? What is he waiting for?/n2Travel is based on the lonelyness of a traveller and how he deals with this. To make the waiting more comfortable a juggler picks up his clubs.
But isn’t it nice to have someone there to watch you?
The juggler uses everything he is carrying to create a fellow traveler, a friend.
The quest has started and leeds to a poetic play with clubs, suitcase and pieces of clothes.
