It was sunny yesterday.
So I shoot a 11 minutes long video outside in lunchtime and attended a class on 20th century art and then edited it.

Some of the tricks I worked on or wanted to work on in the last months. It was cold outside (the sunny day was the coldest) and I had freezing hands. Therefore I was comfortable with short and messy runs.

Haymaker Yo-Yo Trick -Luke Renner. A trick that is fun to perform and features various catches. The Haymaker requires a non-responsive yo-yo. The yo-yo used by Luke Renner is the MagicYoYo N8. Special Thanks to MagicYoYo in Shenzen! String is 50/50 slick string courtesy of Shannon Jackson. Filmed outside in Northwest New Mexico in August 2012. conceptually, it's the same trick, except I hold the string with different hands. unwrapping stick passes inside of the string instead of outside, etc etc.
With the ever classy "throw at the camera" at the end.

Brainstorming session using 3 balls and only the inside part of the arm. The title means My own LED Diabolos. I made these LED Kits by myself for a project at school. I am pretty happy with the result of it, because you can see the LEDs pretty good and the colour changing between red and green works fine. I am also glad that they don't break if you drop them which was my biggest fear at first.
I know that the tricks are not the greatest, but I couldn't do any 3d stuff because I only had the time to make 2 LED kits. Moreover it was dark, wet and cold outside and I couldn't see a lot.
Anyways enojy ;).

Another good move to start with, this is just a reverse elbow wrap followed by a forwards elbow wrap but in wall plane (spinning in front of you as if you were facing a wall). As with all contact, don't let go of the staf untill your hand is touching the contact point (in this case the outside of your elbow). This helps give a nice smooth contact roll. As the video shows this move can be done with hands apart (adding an extra beat) or together. It also leads nicly into pivots.

A handful of 5 Ball Tennis variations.
The first of these is a pattern involving feet that resembles [44][22]3, then standard tennis, next is 7445555, and finally 7535555.
The foot thing could be more tennisy, and there are many other variations I could have added. I wanted to include all of the variations suggested (tongue in cheek) in the recDot post that instigated this video (753 & 663 w/outside 3s, and 645555 with the 6 caught and thrown crossed arm on one side). I recorded the 645555 pattern and some others that I thought of in a few runs, but decided to use this clip for now.
If there is interest in seeing more tennis variations, I may record a lot more of them.

Shot outside the Odeon in Cardiff Bay. Shortly afterward the marketing manager asked me if I wanted to earn some free tickets by performing in front of the imax screen while the people took their seats for Alice in Wonderland. Of course I said yes and it went pretty well.
Good times. :)
Also, I should probably credit Wes Peden for the inspiration (although he's probably sick of it by now).
