I have met with Istvan during circus workshop in Pilsen and when I was traveling to Romania I stop by to visit him. We shot this non-commercial video in old butchery in Budapest where by coincidence was rehearsing music band Mindless Game that you can hear in video.

Senor Wences was a brilliant ventriloquist. This is one of his many appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show - he appeared on the show 23 times over its long life. Juggling was part of his act, and there are lots of clips online showing him doing the tray spinning, but this one contains more juggling than I've seen in any other clip.
He lived to age 103, and was still performing (in Sugar Babies) at the age of 90!

Documentary/Showreel about British "new circus" troupe Ra Ra Zoo and their show "Live at the Swan Theater". Not sure about the date as I can't make that out at the end, but it's some time in the late 1980s-early 1990s I think.
Video features what looks like a young Sean Gandini to me, which would make it pre-1992

The astonishing Trixie Larue on ice. In glorious colour!!
Ball spinning, head bouncing, 3 hats, 6 plates and a head bounce, ball and mouthstick, and fine row of 6 backflips (on skates!) to cap it off.
Found on home movies from The Maxwells - Australian comedy acrobatic duo, who worked in the Ice Capades with her.

The extraordinarily talented Fu Xiuyu from the Changchun Acrobatic Troupe, at the 12th Monte Carlo Circus Festival (1987), kicking multiple bowls up to her head while on a giraffe unicycle ... on a rolling globe!
Astonishingly the act did not win either a gold or silver clown, but the Changchun troupe, which presented this act and a highwire act, won "Monaco City Prize" and "Monte Carlo TV Station Prize".

I'm Toddington from the UK. I started up Diabolo 9 months ago when I started travelling Sri Lanka and India. The internet was terrible so I've been learning from books until now. So glad to be in Japan now and finally find some inspiration online. Here is a video of my exploits so far./nI'm heading to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Australia, Canada next ... probably in that order. Russian passing troupe, with acrobatic balances. From Finnish TV series called "Russian Circus" approx 1990.
Most notable for the unusual version of the old "runaround with a hat" trick.
We think it may be an earlier generation of the Teslenkos.
