Promote the "Art of Yo" in the Four Corners during the 11th Annual Yo-Yo Contest at the Farmington Museum 3041. (Farmington, New Mexico), registration will be at 5:30 p.m. with the contest beginning at 5:45 p.m. outside the Farmington Museum during Freedom Days! See String Theory in Action! While enjoying the Farmington Museum Foundation Ice Cream Social, take a moment to cheer on the string slingers at the Farmington Museum. The Yo Down Show Down will showcase the skills of some of our youngest museum patrons and is also open to all ages and skill levels. The contest is free to enter and is a bring your own yo-yo event. Pop N' Fresh - Luke Renner. Yo-Yo used in the demo is the N12 Shark by MagicYoYo. The trick was created by Gary Longoria. This trick is a repeater based on the Mondial Hop. Music used in the video is from the public domain and features: Intro music by Richard Strauss followed by two pieces by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov: "Flight of the Bumble Bee" from the 1940's Green Hornet Movie Serial and the Russian Easter Festival Overture, Op. 36 performed by Czech National Symphony Orchestra. MagicYoYo N12 Shark - Currently working on a tutorial using the N12 Shark. However; I'm having a difficult time putting the N12 down long enough to work on the tutorial. Mystery Wrist Mount Trick - N12 MagicYoYo Shark Tutorial. About the trick... It came out in the late 90's early 2000. Alex Berenguel may be the creator of the trick. This trick has been a difficult one to have a 100% identification on the name. Thanks to Shannon Jackson and the Yossarian for their help in trying to identify the originator and name (about 95% sure on the answer). Special thanks to MagicYoYo in Shenzhen! Haymaker Yo-Yo Trick -Luke Renner. A trick that is fun to perform and features various catches. The Haymaker requires a non-responsive yo-yo. The yo-yo used by Luke Renner is the MagicYoYo N8.
