I'm back if anyone remembers me. I took a year long hiatus cause of school, other hobbies but mainly because I lost interest. After coming on randomly and watching some videos a little while back I was inspired to start diaboloing again (the limits of diabolos have been pushed a ridiculous amount this past year...). So this vid is just a coming back vid of some stuff from the past couple days of practice that I filmed. I also threw in some stuff that I've learned over the past year at the end of the video.

[Feb 2007] Well here it is, my return to posting juggling videos: I hope you enjoy it. I tried to combine entertaining video watching with interesting juggling tricks.

I went up to a park in Highbury and recorded a combination of tricks, most of which I've recorded before, but never together. In the middle I do catch behind the back which came from working with Devon Howell. At the end is a shaker cup move inspired from watching Tuey Wilson.

In this video, I do mediocre kendama tricks to fancy music and make it look doper than it really is. If you do kendama, don't bother watching. If you don't do kendama, or are worse than me, comment on how awesome I am. Wow... shallow.

I finally finished a new video of my juggling which i wanted more and more during the past months. The final result shows some ideas in editing that i like as well as some tricks and combinations that are brand new for me. The wind during the last weeks was a little annoying (you'll recognize). When I arrived at the Pacific Northwest Juggling Convention in Corvallis I had no intentions of entering any competitions. Reluctantly I agreed to participate, not really knowing who Sean McKinney was. After watching the other performers, I was sure I didn't win and went up to the Balcony to watch the rest of the show. They announced me as the winner just as I had come down for a drink of water. They gave me the coolest juggling trophy I've ever seen! Since then I've done my homework on McKinney and spent some time with the people who knew him and decided I probably was the right person for this particular competition.
