I met up with Alex for a juggling session. We both beat our 11 ball personal bests. Here's what happened at the end of the video: Basically Alex became the first person to juggle 11 balls with 23 catches. I saw the whole thing and it looked amazing (very clean). We thought we'd captured it with both our camcorders but unfortunately one camera wasn't recording and the other had fallen over and was pointing at the sky!

Trip The Switch, Ian Deady and Gerardo Martin Martel went to Lugansk in the Ukraine, survived the vodka and got to perform at the Future of Circus Festival and win a prize which we were told was Jury Special Prize. We couldn't read it, it's written in Cyrillic. But lovely decrepit cheesy permanent Brehznev era circus building.

This is the biggest juggling festival I've ever been to in my life and it was a blast. This video includes the best jugglers that I talked to and had the opportunity to record with. The public moves around at night in a forest, senses are widened and opened for a performance-voyage inspired on getting in touch with forgotten dreams and on percieving put away desires. All surround music, all suround light sculpture, movement and light juggling. Show time 25 minutes.

The first Juggling day in Irsee (about 90 km southwest form Munich) on March 13 2010.
4 out of 4 jugglers mastered the devilstick double propeller. We had a lot of fun and good practice.

Throw in tricks were a bit of a theme... as was Pingu.
Also, we got 1 round of the first galloped manipulator pattern where everybody gets to be in every position. More galloped manipulator patterns (and more rounds) will follow.

Now the truth can be told. Simmering rivalry was put to the test in the only way that kendama gentlemen may respectfully settle matters. After the BKO weekend was out of the way, a stand-up duel was in order. Who would prove to be the better man?
