Around the... kendama tricks are combinations of cups and spike. This is the one I call "Around Ireland" Small Cup ~ Base Cup ~ Spike./nBecause Ireland is a small island, it makes sense that the combination is short; so are Around Japan and Around Britain./nIn fact Around Ireland uses the same cups as Around Britain but in reverse order, because reasons.

This is surprisingly effective when done well, it can really look like your leg has dissapeared! Unfortunately it's very angle sensetive, it only really works when viewed from the front.
Incase you can't work it out from the video, here's how you do it.
Hold the hat by the brim, with the opening resting against the top of your thigh, move it down until it covers your foot and hides it from view. As you raise the hat again, bend your leg at the knee. Et voila! Your leg has vanished!
Lower the hat again, straightening your leg as you do so. Ooh look! Your leg has re-appeared!
Top tips: Only raise the hat as far as your knee, and keep your foot hidden behind your thigh. A few minutes practice infront of a mirror and you'll soon get the hang of it.
Bonus points: Make both legs dissapear, at the same time...

I went to California in 2003 with my juggling partner, the multi-talented Kerry Silson. He's a musician, acrobat and horseback performer as well as juggler. The original tapes of this footage were eaten by a JVC camcorder (beware!) and the backups were destroyed by two Macintosh iBook computers working in separate countries. Hope this file (from a Video CD) is watchable.

It consists of Chris (diaboloist + juggler), Marc (diaboloist) and Zack (diaboloist) who have been diaboloing for 7 months and Josh (juggler) who has been juggling for just over a year. We are all 14 and are two sets of twins that go to Hullabaloo in Leeds. Please don’t hesitate to post your view about our first video and tell us how we could improve it. Hello me and my friend(Onni)were thinkin, should we make a video with only our best 2D tricks, i was like, well there aren't so many but what the heck what does it matter, but this video is not only 2D but in the beginning there is only one 1D trick, ill give you a hint: its a vertax trick which my friend can do but i cant get the hang of it! Well hope you enjoy our little video.
