This video is a short showcase of some of the results of months of research in ring manipulation. The video was shot in just a few short hours with a mobile phone camera and without the aid of a camera man but was expertly edited by Hannah Martin. Simple as the production is, it is for me a fine a example of the conclusion of the research; Rings are cool. /nJuggling - Pol Hanrahan

100% of the proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities, which is the charity I am raising money for as a I attempt to juggle an entire triathlon on April 21, 2012.

This came about through me and Tim messing about with antispin contact ideas and trying to work out how to antispin a fishtail. We came up with the antispin fishtail fountain and realised it could be done without antispin (obviously). Surprisingly the antispin version is easier as it doesn't try to fly off your hand as much. Starting in reverse do 1 beat behind you then go straight into a 180 fishtail carry downwards and in a straight line. Because it's antispin you need to move pretty fast in straight lines. When you get to the other side move your hand straight up and then straight across. This needs to be done in 1 beat. Try going through this holding the staff to your hand before fishtailing it to get used to feeling the path of spin.

A tiny bit easier than a matrix because you are turning into the staff. Look at the points you need to start turning, they are when you start leaning back to get it under the arm. Again very hard to get smooth.

Apps on apps - First i used an app to record the trails then I used an app to automagically edit a video together. I used "Luminancer" for the Trails, and "Magisto" for the edit. While its not perfect, It was crazy to fast to put it all together.

I filmed this over the summer at the farm in Athens, Ohio that I had recently moved to. I'm doing an internship there for the year. The song was written by Kelly Latimore who also lives at the farm. Master/beast club passing act - Didier Andre & Fabian Alberola - in Archaos "The Last Show on Earth" Australia 1992
The strongest character-based juggling act I've seen. Skill level was high for its time (5 clubs each, solid 8 club pass), the act is beautifully constructed, and it rocked the show every night I saw it.
