Had to film something before the winter's coming.
I didn't practice any numbers lately, so this is mostly a technical 1d, 2d video.
Just some integral combos I like, only a few tricks are really new.
P.S. Not all clips are at best quality, since I had some issues with the rendering (I was dumb enough to film at two framerates :( ). The quality on YouTube is better.

As another season draws to a close, it's time for another edit of strange and unusual kendama skills. As per usual, 90 minutes of filming, expertly trimmed down by Pete, who also provided his garden as a suitably autumnal backdrop. Caution, may contain traces of pommawanga, for those who care..... :) Enjoy!

Bartek a.k.a Bartłomiej Milewski, Maciek a.k.a. Maciej Grzegorzewski, and Wis a.k.a. Luis Hernandez, joined forces to form the Diabolo Team Poland to perform in the Gala show of the juggling convention Żelka 2015, in Lublin Poland on the 16th of May 2015.

This form of staff juggling now seems to be commonly called "fei-cha".
It comes from the traditional Chinese acrobatic repertoire, and in chinese acrobatics books and videos that I have seen it is translated as "trident manipulation".
The trident has loose elements at the head, which make the jangling sound - it's often a very noisy act.
This spinner is Mohamed Badr El Nouby from the Cairo Circus School.

I have met with Istvan during circus workshop in Pilsen and when I was traveling to Romania I stop by to visit him. We shot this non-commercial video in old butchery in Budapest where by coincidence was rehearsing music band Mindless Game that you can hear in video.

Russian passing troupe, with acrobatic balances. From Finnish TV series called "Russian Circus" approx 1990.
Most notable for the unusual version of the old "runaround with a hat" trick.
We think it may be an earlier generation of the Teslenkos.
