Pintapuolelta Taikuri näyttäytyy äärimmäisen klassisena taikuusesityksenä, mutta samalla teos tulee yllättämään olemalla kaukana siitä mitä taikuudelta odotat. Esityksessä pelataan taikuuden esittämisen perinteen ja muodon pelikentällä. Kaikki tapahtuu paljaasti, ilman taikuutta, mutta silti teos tulee huijaamaan jokaisen.

established beliefs, customs, etc. It is a study on control, substance and sanctity, inspired by art, religions and
beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe.

25. -28.8.2016 Joensuussa ja osana JOEN YÖTÄ 26.8.2016/nEnsimmäinen vuosittainen suomen tulitaiteilijoiden tulitaidefestivaali HEHKU järjestettiin Joensuussa 25. -28.8.2016, lisäksi tapahtuma on osana ’Joen Yö’ -kaupunkifestivaalia 26.8.2016. ja tapahtuman gaalanäytös täytti Joensuun torin tuhansilla katsojilla./nHehku -tulitaidefestivaali rakentuu näyttävästä tuligaalasta, kotimaisten tulitaideryhmien esityksistä, ja työpajoista. /nHehku – tulitaidefestivaali kiteytyi perjantaina klo 21 alkaneeseen tulitaideryhmien tunnin mittaiseen gaalanäytökseen. Tämä näytös toimi samalla myös Joen Yö -tapahtuman näyttävänä huipennuksena.
