My First poi video i have only been doing this for about three weeks when this was filmed. any tips/hints will be much appreciated.

Another good move to start with, this is just a reverse elbow wrap followed by a forwards elbow wrap but in wall plane (spinning in front of you as if you were facing a wall). As with all contact, don't let go of the staf untill your hand is touching the contact point (in this case the outside of your elbow). This helps give a nice smooth contact roll. As the video shows this move can be done with hands apart (adding an extra beat) or together. It also leads nicly into pivots.
