Juggler: Bence Valkó Video & edit: Réka Bosznay /nThe whole project started as a lifestyle video in autumn, thanks to the last warm, sunny days. On a mild winter day we decided to continue and keep the recordings to make a one year long project season by season. The recordings were take accidentally: we didn't have a script etc. Nevertheless I like how the result of one year of practicing is so visible.

I borrowed a video camera and went crazy one night with taping as many moves as possible. This is the result.

This video was going to have a theme of tennising tricks, but then I got bored and just started screwing around. The result is a video made in a single day, and edited on that day too. I think it's actually pretty good! I tried to get a bit more synchronisation to the music too, and I think for the most part I've succeeded... Any comments would be much appreciated.

Si ya controlas un poco en malabares con giro (como mazas o sombrero) resulta relativamente fácil realizar los movimientos básicos y se presta mucho a la experimentación. También puedes realizar algunos movimientos de pelotas con ellos, e incluso he visto usarlos como cajas chinas.

So we did some ring passing the other day, and I am really happy with the result, considering that I hardly ever do this. Big thanks to Daniel for being an awesome passer and friend.

Use a palm-up fork grip at the back of the hat and remove it, straightening the arm. As the arm straightens twist the wrist and take the ring finger off the brim. Spin the hat so that it moves between the middle and forefingers, then transfer the grip to the forefinger and thumb and continue the spin for as far as you can. Reverse the "twiddle" to place it back on the head. The main video clip for this trick doesn't show the fingers in any great detail. See the closeup version (120K mpeg) for a better view. For best results you might want to set your video player to loop the clip.
