Counting Escalator Steps

wespeden

LINKS: TITLE: Counting Escalator Steps IDEA: Stale bread boring and i never want my juggling to be a synonym for it. So i am trying to use what i find in juggling quickly and get on to the next thing to keep it interesting for me and other juggling enthusiasts. So i felt like i needed to make this video so the juggling didn't get forgotten and lost. (see PROCESS from more pretentiousness) HOW TO: For best results view film in full screen in a dark room with sound canceling headphones at least 2 hours after eating and no more than 15 minutes after reading fiction. Feet should be flat on the floor, palms down, and head 70 cm from the screen(assuming you are viewing this on a computer). CREDITS : http://www.k8malabares.com http://www.wespeden.com http://www.mum.is special thanks to K8 for the POP clubs! PROCESS: there is not enough room to write this here but you can read it in the info of this same video on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/wespeden

Epic Starts Here

martijnhalekor

Arjan and I spent a week of our summer holidays at William's (aka crackers). This video is a result of the footage we shot and the ideas we had during that week. This video (and it's soundtracks) contains cursing, partial nudity, inside jokes, heavy over-use of random quotes & samples and is overflowing with awesomeness. Close your curtains, dim down your lights, crank the volume to the max and enjoy!

Juggling ball tracking

n8rae

A couple of weeks ago I filmed Ewan juggling three stage balls at the Durham Juggling Convention. Using my editing software I then tracked each ball individually to highlight the movement of the balls and the patterns they make. The results were very interesting. Check them out. I'd love to hear you comments on this video and any suggestions on how i can develop the idea in the future. I am planning to film more interesting patterns with more objects but i thought three would be enough for now. I'll also film it using more light so i can film at 1/200 or 1/500 exposure instead of 1/100 so the balls don't blur. Any way, I hope you enjoyed it.

3 ball, special, and contact juggling after 10 months

markconigliaro

Although so many things went wrong, I still think this turned out rather well. In the 3 ball part, I went 2 minutes and 40 seconds without a drop, which is good because when I did drop it, I was done anyway. And try to ignore the hiss, I couldn't get rid of it, but I think later on it just went away. I did something special for part 2, I won't spoil it, but it sucked getting that right, and it still wasn't as good as I had hoped. Yes I shook the camera and didn't realize it, but after that it went alright. although my hand was in the way for one of the tricks, (hint, inside elbow stall, then again rolling it to the fingers). Contact juggling, for the first 2 parts I was standing on some cloths because of the squeaky floorboard I was on. In this part I decided to take them away so I can stand level on the floor....and you can hear the results. If you can get past the floorboard, then I did pretty good....in the beginning. It's weird, I purposely put the hard tricks in the beginning so if I kept messing up

I strayed away from my faster, electronica-based, style of editing to pursue something more relaxed in my last few videos. For my first personal video of the year (and my first ever solo video as director and not cameraman), I wanted to revisit this style with my recent progress in videography. I am very happy with the result. Filmed with a Canon T3i (600D), edited in Final Cut Pro X. This video is a short showcase of some of the results of months of research in ring manipulation. The video was shot in just a few short hours with a mobile phone camera and without the aid of a camera man but was expertly edited by Hannah Martin. Simple as the production is, it is for me a fine a example of the conclusion of the research; Rings are cool. /nJuggling - Pol Hanrahan Camera - A black stool and tape Editing - Hannah Martin Music - "Madiba" by Robert Lee Furdoe Filmed in the Katakomben Berlin Thanks to everyone who contributed with special mention to Hannah Martin, The black stool, Declan Mee, Stefan Sing and Darragh McGloughlin
