Made a quick practice video over 2 days at 7 Mile Beach when I was staying near there on holidays with a friend. Nothing too new, clean or fancy. The editing isn't that great either as it's not a serious video./nSong: Sunshine by Matisyahu

Two poles of different lengths balanced simultaneously on the head, as well as some other balancing tricks. This is know as a dual or twin inverted pendulum in control systems engineering. In the first 2 clips I use a long pole that is 4 times the length of the short pole. In the 3rd clip the long pole is only 3 times as long and is more difficult. The poles fit together in sections so that I can pack them in my bag. They're made from a cheap Argos wardrobe. The ball on the end of the long pole is mainly there to make the end more visible. I'm using rubber chair leg feet at the bottom end of the poles. Music is 'Heartbeats' by The Knife.

Slight change of pace compared to part 1, focusing on tricks which involve use of the floor or other flat surfaces. There are quite a lot of variations but most tend to be pretty boring to look at, so I left a few other things out./nNext week, manipulation style stuff using on the hands!

Watch in HD! My first trip to WJD Osaka. It was held over 2 days and had an attendance of over 700 people in total. Some truly amazing things went down, hopefully this will give you an idea of what it was like. You may have noticed Nick Laffey in there as well, he happened to be in Japan this week so it was perfect timing. Anyone coming to Japan give me a shout and I'll help you out with interpreting or getting you around to the various juggling clubs in Tokyo/Yokohama. Honestly even if you don't know Japanese it's no problem, juggling is the best communication.

First proper vid in a while, just filming some ideas/things I have been playing around with before/after I moved house/changed jobs. Going to go with monthly themed vids from now I think, picking a certain idea and going as far as I can with it. Seems like there's lots more to explore yet...

Some of the tricks I worked on or wanted to work on in the last months. It was cold outside (the sunny day was the coldest) and I had freezing hands. Therefore I was comfortable with short and messy runs.

A little doublestaff compilation from a training session early this year. I'm not quite sure how to describe this style. Some people just call it old school spinning. I'd like to coin it power spinning if i may.... sounds like a fitness fad though.. Shot in the training room of Cirque du Soleil's Zaia show, which was at the Venetian Macau before sadly shutting down in March this year. Wanted to try and make some little routines that don't tread on the same old ground as usual. To mixed results. There's still a lot of ways to do things that haven't been found yet...
