2 male Chinese acrobats performing with tridents. I do not know which troupe they are from.
This skill is sometimes called Fei-cha. It is a traditional Chinese acrobatic form. The tridents have loose elements at the head, which creates the characteristic jangling noise.

Short clip of plate spinning on table from 4th Cirque de Demain 1980. The spinner is from the Cairo Circus School. It's only a short clip, but has some nice close-ups of the spinning technique.
This type of plate spinning used to be called "waltzing plates".

This form of staff juggling now seems to be commonly called "fei-cha".
It comes from the traditional Chinese acrobatic repertoire, and in chinese acrobatics books and videos that I have seen it is translated as "trident manipulation".
The trident has loose elements at the head, which make the jangling sound - it's often a very noisy act.
This spinner is Mohamed Badr El Nouby from the Cairo Circus School.

Russian passing troupe, with acrobatic balances. From Finnish TV series called "Russian Circus" approx 1990.
Most notable for the unusual version of the old "runaround with a hat" trick.
We think it may be an earlier generation of the Teslenkos.

An old building or environment is filled with strange art, free entrance, the chance to see an abandoned closed place, drinking beer all around the place, juggling all around the place, and there are even DJs...

We shot this video clip in Denmark, on a beautiful island called Fano.We had a lot of fun experience there and discovering the scenery was very exciting.
I'm juggling with 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 balls in this video, upwards and downwards as well.

Probably the first video of the pattern now known as the Scrambled V - we hadn't told anyone else about this discovery yet.
This video was shot just 10m from the group photo taken at a convention in 2007 and 2008.
Filmed on a hot Saturday in August (2004-08-07, 13:52) in a gym in Hilden, Germany.
