Had to film something before the winter's coming.
I didn't practice any numbers lately, so this is mostly a technical 1d, 2d video.
Just some integral combos I like, only a few tricks are really new.
P.S. Not all clips are at best quality, since I had some issues with the rendering (I was dumb enough to film at two framerates :( ). The quality on YouTube is better.

As another season draws to a close, it's time for another edit of strange and unusual kendama skills. As per usual, 90 minutes of filming, expertly trimmed down by Pete, who also provided his garden as a suitably autumnal backdrop. This skill is sometimes called Fei-cha. It is a traditional Chinese acrobatic form. The tridents have loose elements at the head, which creates the characteristic jangling noise.

Senor Wences was a brilliant ventriloquist. This is one of his many appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show - he appeared on the show 23 times over its long life. Juggling was part of his act, and there are lots of clips online showing him doing the tray spinning, but this one contains more juggling than I've seen in any other clip.
He lived to age 103, and was still performing (in Sugar Babies) at the age of 90!

Australian variety performer Tex Glanville, showing his bottle & plate routine. Bottle & plate was one of the routines of the gentleman jugglers, and is mentioned in some of the old juggling books, but is not common today.
Tex was an exceptional rope-spinner, as well as a juggler and slackwire artist. He also made home movies of other performers - 'Elimar the genius juggler', #832 on this site, is one of his.

The strongest character-based juggling act I've seen. Skill level was high for its time (5 clubs each, solid 8 club pass), the act is beautifully constructed, and it rocked the show every night I saw it.
