Some highlights of the 2011 Isla Vista festival and post-fest juggling in Lancaster, CA and at Vasquez Rocks. The other jugglers were Jonathan Redman, Jennifer Szabo, Beejay Joyer, Matthew Thornley, Steve (TheGoHeads), another guy who was also good at teaching that 2/3 count passing pattern, Rhonda and Will, and featuring an aggressive beast-woman who collects video of the people she follows around while needlessly and sweatily shouting "harassment".

"The French Connection" is a juggling video by Piet van Steen and Albrecht Brunner featuring 16 jugglers from France and Germany. In case you are wondering why everything's so Japanese about the video, the reason is because we wanted to convey the message that we are very influenced by their juggling in a different way. The main idea of the video is not to copy tricks from Japanese people, but to show variations and tricks that we made based on their tricks. The second part of the video is coming soon and won't have Japan as a theme. Thanks so much for watching!

I liked how this one turned out. It's not my usual style of 1 straight take, this one has edits. I had to do edits for various reason. I also forgot a trick I can do very well, behind the back catches with my new toys, and I'm mad I forgot that since I spent a good 3 days straight practicing it.
Like I said in the intro, I've only been doing rings for 2 weeks (well 2 weeks and 2 days) and I pretty much haven't done anything at all except them.

i used three balls from a juggling handler, hoodie from fruit of the loom, and trousers from uptown brussel, the shoes are also from a knowed handler, just to be clear about my underground roots.
the music is from some dj´s, i really don´t know who created the tune, but it´s often listened in dnb parties, where you almost never find me. THE FLUTE TUNE is the name.

I made this video because I wanted to try putting some effort into the production side of things and because I had a bunch of clips I wanted to show certain individuals. Because I had no one in particular in mind to show all of this stuff to, the video has an ADHD feel to it that I like.
For the record, the juggling here is pretty respectably difficult, the straps are respectably intermediate, and the wheel stuff is laughably simple. This is in line with how often I practice each of them as well as the total length of time I've been working on each.

Here's the 5-ball siteswap 10 5 5 5 5 0 (a55550) done two different ways. First the 10 is a high throw, and the 0 is demonstrated with an open palm, and then the 10 is tossed to a kickup and back into the pattern.
