This is my BYJOTY juggling act for 2016, which was my final year of entering since I'm currently 20 years old. This routine won me the title of the British Young Juggler of the Year and the silver award of the competition./nI met some great people who also entered the competition with amazing acts, who you should also check out: Luke Davies, Max Hodgkinson, Lucy Cobb, Adam Church and Nathaniel!/nThanks to Marc Cabry and Josh Turner for filming this for me! I went to California in 2003 with my juggling partner, the multi-talented Kerry Silson. He's a musician, acrobat and horseback performer as well as juggler. The original tapes of this footage were eaten by a JVC camcorder (beware!) and the backups were destroyed by two Macintosh iBook computers working in separate countries. Hope this file (from a Video CD) is watchable.

« Visual Juggling Project » is a succession of suggestions on object motions & body languages, hilighting the graphic side of the discipline. This is the result of the gathering & collaboration of a dozen of international jugglers & manipulators, around various props such as balls, clubs, rings, pois, devilstick & frisbee. It has been made from the shared reexions, explorations & experiences of those major stakeholders on the dynamic relationships between « tech » & « flow ». Thus, this 80 Minutes Hi Denition video (a total of 19 chapters) is the one to get to become aware of the potentialities concerning that recent playground.

The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise).
1. "cB": The manipulator carries a club to B.
2. "sA": The manipulator substitutes a pass from C to A.
3. "iB": The manipulator (M) intercepts a self from C to C. The juggler who was C is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. The old manipulator, reads C's line. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes.

A little doublestaff compilation from a training session early this year.
I'm not quite sure how to describe this style. Some people just call it old school spinning. I'd like to coin it power spinning if i may.... sounds like a fitness fad though..
Shot in the training room of Cirque du Soleil's Zaia show, which was at the Venetian Macau before sadly shutting down in March this year.
