5 Ball Tennis'

MichaelFalkov

A handful of 5 Ball Tennis variations. The first of these is a pattern involving feet that resembles [44][22]3, then standard tennis, next is 7445555, and finally 7535555. The foot thing could be more tennisy, and there are many other variations I could have added. I wanted to include all of the variations suggested (tongue in cheek) in the recDot post that instigated this video (753 & 663 w/outside 3s, and 645555 with the 6 caught and thrown crossed arm on one side). I recorded the 645555 pattern and some others that I thought of in a few runs, but decided to use this clip for now. If there is interest in seeing more tennis variations, I may record a lot more of them.

Brook and Mark

brook_roberts

In which Brook finally accepts Mark will never learn interesting siteswaps and they do a bunch of 1-count and 2-count. With apologies to the Highgate jugglers for my betrayal of ambidexterity! Filmed in November 2016 when we didn't have to rehearse the passing routine for Camvention any more and enjoyed our freedom :) Thanks to Mark for indulging me and filming, Danny for the terrible 4 way combo that took me over two years to get good enough to actually do (and some of the other ideas), and Jon for filming a little sequence with me.

California Juggling

johnnations

I went to California in 2003 with my juggling partner, the multi-talented Kerry Silson. He's a musician, acrobat and horseback performer as well as juggler. The original tapes of this footage were eaten by a JVC camcorder (beware!) and the backups were destroyed by two Macintosh iBook computers working in separate countries. Hope this file (from a Video CD) is watchable.

Duo-Juggle with a twist

littlejugglers

Part 1 Andrew & Christopher doing a little duo-juggling over the last remaining gate in the Historic Wexford Town Wall. Part 2 is the lads duo-juggling blind over a 15ft Wall where they can't see each other so the timing of the Pattern and the throws is really important.

ET LUDIT Play & create.

Impredecibles

Et Ludit is a working process that applies the mathematics of juggling to kinetic structures and sculptures. From structures and machines like the Marble Machine, the Goldberg Machine, the Pendulum Waves and the Rolling Ball Sculpture, Alba González, Martín Castaño and Toni Liébana will investigate different patterns of movement and beautiful visual compositions in order to create an interactive installation. The work, combined with theatre-circus performances, will promote the exchange of information and knowledge between the artists and the attending public. Et Ludit is a proposal that encourages participation and seeks to involve the viewer in the project —the viewer is expected to activate those structures, try and recreate its movement patterns—.
