The thought of getting the hell out of work and going to meet my girlfriend somehow lead me to this idea a few days ago. It's the first time I've ever really thought about the use of colour with my juggling. Sorry for the shoddy filming.

A compilation of 22 ideas filmed over 22 days, just filmed nice and quick (mostly) in my room. Usually I get lots of ideas at work and put them aside/forget about them so for a test I figure I'd document it and see what comes of it. Was going to do it longer but I want to let my wrist heal up a bit before JJF. Think I might have another go at this over the winter...

Contact Juggling, an ancient art recently codified and popularized by Michael Moschen, is as indefinable as it is magical. Rather than try to describe it, the community of ContactJuggling.org began this project to show you how each of us sees Contact Juggling. Whether dance, juggling, mime, or magic (or perhaps all four or none at all), this video showcases years of hard work by artists across four continents, each bound together by a common interest but all unique in their study.

Cool scenes and slings around and about Crater Lake National Park (featuring a cameo from Mt. Finally got a new prop, and I got it exactly 1 week before filming, and that week was E3 week. All the gamers out there can figure out how much practice I had that week...but yea, I upgraded to new sticks, string, and length 2 days before filming, so it took a while for me to get used to it, even now it feels weird./nBut yea, the 2nd song was a light fun hearted song (for most of it), so that's why I wasn't too serious about editing, it just seemed to fit well having extended clips. I like it.

The South Pasadena Jugglers invited their friends to a lovely camp in the Angeles Forest for a May 2012 juggling weekend. We had lots of fun, and got the Roundabout bouncing around in a feed again. The pattern seems to be evolving away from the feed it emerged from, spending more time in the triangle...

Hope you enjoy the video. Also, please spare me the "unicycle" suggestion comments or "you should have done a 3 ball cascade" while riding no-handed comments. If you don't know anything about triathlons, then those comments are very naive, because you have no idea what a race like this entails. I spent 10 months training, researching, and fine tuning what works. Until you actually get out there and see what "works" then try to understand that what looks good on paper, doesn't always translate into good practice. Enjoy! -Joe

There is an amazing house in Long Beach - it has a juggling room with dozens of clubs and three great passers living in the house. Adding a single visitor from abroad, that's all you need for a nice Bounceabout.

[2006] This is a video of tricks using the Japanese props of a ball and two "ball sticks." I made the "ball sticks" a week ago and here's what I've learned. About half of these moves are ones that I've never seen done before.
