Performed at the Kakunihai event today, came second with this routine. I actually messed up the timing somehow (I went too fast?) so I ended up having to fill the gaps in a few places, but at least it wasn't too droppy. Time to make a better routine for JJF...

Shot outside the Odeon in Cardiff Bay. Shortly afterward the marketing manager asked me if I wanted to earn some free tickets by performing in front of the imax screen while the people took their seats for Alice in Wonderland. Of course I said yes and it went pretty well.
Good times. :)
Also, I should probably credit Wes Peden for the inspiration (although he's probably sick of it by now).

Video #14 of the [Juggling] series, and the first in over 2 months. As usual, the tricks just reflect what I've been practicing over the past time, and as such, this one is only Balls, Rings, and Clubs (my new Radical Fish clubs to be exact), but all the tricks here are twice as good as in ANY of my later videos. When I arrived at the Pacific Northwest Juggling Convention in Corvallis I had no intentions of entering any competitions. Reluctantly I agreed to participate, not really knowing who Sean McKinney was. After watching the other performers, I was sure I didn't win and went up to the Balcony to watch the rest of the show. They announced me as the winner just as I had come down for a drink of water. They gave me the coolest juggling trophy I've ever seen! Since then I've done my homework on McKinney and spent some time with the people who knew him and decided I probably was the right person for this particular competition.
