I've only been playing kendama seriously for 5.5 years, so it's obviously rather early for me to be releasing a solo video, so I apologise for my hastiness. I said a while ago that it's much easier to juggle with all throws and catches under the legs when you're sitting down. Well, I got my video camera out and taped myself doing some sweet moves. It's easy to do the simple patterns, but integrating cool 3 ball tricks makes it look really good--and makes it really difficult.

"Équilibre" (which means balance in french) is a juggling experience directed and performed by Nico Pires, filmed in motion by Franck Remy (www.rollercam.fr). The tricklist for the 2008 British Kendama Championships, which was held at the BJC in March 2008. (#8 should be called "Maeuchi", not "Kajiya". "Kajiya" means to tap to the base cup. Thanks to asidematoi for the correction.)

Joe and Wes have made 3 videos together in the past. Each video has been a little bit better then the last. Not so with with this motion picture. Apparently Martin was filming a bunch of tricks for inclusion in The Bozo Show, out of Chicago in 1975. It seems someone filmed the taping from off to the side and we get this footage. Martin does a little bit of everything. He also performs a nice handbalancing act (not seen here) in addition to this plethora of juggling tricks.

I've been working on collisions (as I like to call them) for about three years now. In essence it's when two (or more) balls hit each other. I've also been playing around with taps (where you tap the ball(s) with your hand); this video has most of the three ball tricks I've learnt. Filmed on Crosby Beach, near Liverpool in September 2014. I noticed Juggling.TV has better quality, and it's important for these videos, because the scenery is not only carefully selected, it is VERY hard to get to sometimes (part of this is in Finse, Norway!) Thanks to Kristin, Tom H, Brian K, Mike G and Sondre for helping me videotape.
