Go in underarm leaning in the opposite direction to the hand the staff is in. Do a shoulder roll at a slight angle and lean into the staff. As the staff travels across your neck continue to lean into it shifting your weight across. Catch under your other arm.

Unfortunately, I just found out it wasn't good enough to get through...in case you were wondering, up to 2 or 3 misses is generally fine, I felt like the end was small enough to forgive. As for next year, I'll try again, and now this vid is out there I need some harder tricks...
