Watch in HD! My first trip to WJD Osaka. It was held over 2 days and had an attendance of over 700 people in total. Some truly amazing things went down, hopefully this will give you an idea of what it was like. You may have noticed Nick Laffey in there as well, he happened to be in Japan this week so it was perfect timing. Anyone coming to Japan give me a shout and I'll help you out with interpreting or getting you around to the various juggling clubs in Tokyo/Yokohama. Honestly even if you don't know Japanese it's no problem, juggling is the best communication.

I've only been playing kendama seriously for 5.5 years, so it's obviously rather early for me to be releasing a solo video, so I apologise for my hastiness. Apparently Martin was filming a bunch of tricks for inclusion in The Bozo Show, out of Chicago in 1975. It seems someone filmed the taping from off to the side and we get this footage. Martin does a little bit of everything. He also performs a nice handbalancing act (not seen here) in addition to this plethora of juggling tricks.

Here's some technical juggling practice that I've done this last month or so. Lots of juggling with a head bounce, 8,9,10 rings, 8,9 balls, 7 clubs and some balance thrown in there. Hope you like it, I'll keep practicing!

I met up with Alex for a juggling session. We both beat our 11 ball personal bests. Here's what happened at the end of the video: Basically Alex became the first person to juggle 11 balls with 23 catches. I saw the whole thing and it looked amazing (very clean). We thought we'd captured it with both our camcorders but unfortunately one camera wasn't recording and the other had fallen over and was pointing at the sky!

For me, the concept of a "Look Mum I made a juggling video" refers to a video that is made, not to introduce any new ideas to the juggling community, but rather made because it seems like the thing to do. That is why this film is entitled 'Dave's "Look Mum I Made A Juggling Video" Video'. This movie is intended as a parody on the "Look Mum" video genre. You probably won't learn any new tricks, but hopefully you'll have a good laugh. It should also be noted that this video features neither my true juggling potential nor my true personality. They are both facets of a character that I created for this movie. Enjoy.
