This is the video me and Jr. managed to record in 2 days of heavy practice and thinking. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to make a video with him because he is one of my biggest inspirations since I started juggling, and performing these tricks was easy due to our similar style of juggling. Notation: __1__2__3 A: ps ps ps ->B B: ps ss ps ->C C: ss ps ss -> A M: sC iA cB -> M The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the carried pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a self from C to C. This takes place while the juggler is walking on four count. 2. "iA": The manipulator (M) intercepts a the pass from C to A. The juggler who was A is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. The old manipulator, reads A's line. 3. "cB": The manipulator carries a club to B. We found it useful for the manipulator (who was the feeder for 1 and 2) to say 3 during the carry, for continuity. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. Panto gets it's name from the pass from A to B on beat 1, the club is quite close to the back of the manipulators head (He's behind you!).

A segment from my practice session today. Drilling BtN (behind the neck) variations of things. It's still bumpy but progress is being made, slowly but surely. Posting on the web for concrit and tips from other jugglers. I start by showing the normal move I am doing/attempting, then proceed with attempted BtN variations of that move.

Nearing the end of what was turning out to be a pretty lame juggling practice session, I was dead tired and pissed off. Instead of stopping to employ some of my choicest expletives, I continued derpin' around which inadvertently gave birth to a new style of cigar box juggling./nMusic is Yumi-Ga-Hama by Kodo.

Projekt NMN is a research on control, substance and sanctity, inspired by art, religions and beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe. Projekt NMN mixes physical theater with juggling, live music and questioning laughter. It is a dialogue between three jugglers and a folk musician concerning objects, riddles, puzzles and other important things. Projekt NMN is true poetry of contemporary circus, a visual poem of all that exists. work in progress 2.5. -7.5.2012 at Supiainen residency, Eräjärvi. Projekt NMN will have it's premiere when the time is.

Some jugglers reprised a popular juggling act in a minimalist fashion. What happened next gave them quite a surprise.

Normally I'm not a fan of people posting their artistic research and normally I would never post anything that wasn't carefully edited. I have no idea why I'm posting this or who would find it interesting but I've been working on a new act and going through old video clips looking for forgotten ideas. This is literally 3:58 of pure improv. One late night, one shot, one song, an empty room, lot of caffeine, a little juggling and a few emotions. There are drops. There are moments that are self-indulgent and overdone. Technical jugglers you will not like this. You guys that are interested in pure process may find it interesting.

Seriously, who wants ME to actually be on the list of top jugglers for this year? :P Me and my pirating, fat, lazy man boobs.
