Primary yo-yos used in the demonstration by Luke Renner were created by: Russell, Playmaxx, Tom Kuhn, Monarch and includes a generic red & yellow plastic yo-yo (cameos by Hummingbird & Duncan). Studio footage filmed by Andrew Gomez in Northwest New Mexico 12/30/09 and footage filmed by Steve Renner 1/3/10. Yo-yo topic covered in this instructional video is the different types of primary yo-yo shapes. The three covered are traditional, slimline/midline/Russell and butterfly yo-yos. Includes the a possible origin of the butterfly yo-yo. This is the second of a two part series. Note: The Russell shape is included with the slimline/midline group; however this shape is considered unique enough to have its own category. Music is a public domain jazz loop by Florian.

A short guide to how to clean and look after your Stainless Steel ball bearing from a Yo-Yo.
You will need:
Ball bearing Yo-Yo
Lighter fluid
YoYoJam Lube (thin or thick)
Tweezers
Glass Jar
Pliers/bearing removal tool
Cloth/Tissue
Ceramic bearings should not be cleaned in the way described in the video.

Please note that steps in this guide can be dangerous and that following instructions from this video are taken at your own risk. Children should enrol the help of a responsible adult. Lighter fluid is highly flammable, gives off dangerous fumes and should be disposed of carefully as it is bad for the environment.
If not followed correctly this tutorial can result in breaking the bearing or Yo-Yo.

Shot outside the Odeon in Cardiff Bay. Shortly afterward the marketing manager asked me if I wanted to earn some free tickets by performing in front of the imax screen while the people took their seats for Alice in Wonderland. Of course I said yes and it went pretty well.
Good times. :)
Also, I should probably credit Wes Peden for the inspiration (although he's probably sick of it by now).

Ori Roth and company asked to put together a little something for the Israel Juggling Convention, so I threw this together with the wonderful assistance of my lovely wife and Choji-kun at school. Seeing as I'm going to the British Juggling Convention right before Israel, and given that I'm teaching similar workshops at both gatherings, I thought I would kill two birds with one stone. The feeder is A and the feedees are B (on A's left) and C. The feeder counts 1 2 3. On 1 and 3, A and B exchange a pass. On 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, B catches the pass and walks over by A, rotating the positions.
1. "sA": The manipulator (M) substitutes a pass from B to A (catches the pass and replaces it with a different club).
2. "iB": The manipulator intercepts B's self. The juggler who was B is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. The old manipulator reads B's line.
3. "cA": The manipulator carries two clubs over and hands one to A. Then all the jugglers are re-labeled (but not the manipulator) and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes.
