This is the first of the "Cate Emily" videos. I give the title Cate Emily to videos that I feel make a statement about me. In other words something more serious than a quick practice video. I actually never even called myself "Cate Emily" until I made this video, but it started to stick, so I went with it...
The title is true by the way, I went off my medication (anti-depressants actually, but Ritalin is more catchy) and made this video in a four day burst of caffeine/ADD fueled burst of mania. Bet you didn't know that, huh?

La figure imposée est le satellite du bras, et je fais 3 enchainements à 1 diabolo en partant de cette figure.
Le looping du bras sortie laché de baguette, un enchainement de ciseau, et un enchainement genre "près du corps" mais pas tant que ça.

As another season draws to a close, it's time for another edit of strange and unusual kendama skills. As per usual, 90 minutes of filming, expertly trimmed down by Pete, who also provided his garden as a suitably autumnal backdrop. This video is the result of me exploring body throws with clubs for over a year. It includes the best club tricks I’ve come up with since my last club video, and most tricks include shoulder, arm and leg rolls. I’ve been exploring these concepts because I feel like they haven’t been explored enough and I highly recommend you to try them out! Finally, I put a substantial amount of time and exploration into this so I hope you enjoy the tricks and help me share this video. Enjoy!

Met a fascinating man from Brazil, who wished to demonstrate his superb devil sticks skills. Very skilled at the craft, perhaps one of the best in the world. He has practiced an hour a day for his entire life, and often times he practices with a blind fold! He mentioned that he also practices Capoeira. This was shot at Mother's Beach, in Los Angeles, CA.
