A segment from my practice session today.
Drilling BtN (behind the neck) variations of things. It's still bumpy but progress is being made, slowly but surely. Posting on the web for concrit and tips from other jugglers.
I start by showing the normal move I am doing/attempting, then proceed with attempted BtN variations of that move.

I filmed all these tricks in one morning, so some of them are not clean :(, but I tryed my best, anyway I also put some self invented stuff in this video, enjoy ;).
Oh i almost forgot, this time I also filmed some juggling stuff after a long break of juggling, I really enjoyed it again. I will practise juggling more often again from now on :)

Documentary/Showreel about British "new circus" troupe Ra Ra Zoo and their show "Live at the Swan Theater". Not sure about the date as I can't make that out at the end, but it's some time in the late 1980s-early 1990s I think.

The balls are programmed to be a certain colour determined by the vertical distance from my hand. The colour ranges from purple at the bottom up through blue, green, yellow, orange to red at the top of the highest throw - like a rainbow.
It requires fairly precise timing to keep in sync with the programmed timing. Some siteswaps I do a good job with it; others are not quite as in sync.

Finally after some time, me and my friend Bert Maas made a new juggling video. Thanks to Bert for all the filming and editing, I think he did an awesome job!/nThis is filmed at TU/e (University of Technology) in Eindhoven the Netherlands, where I study now. Unfortunately I almost have no time left for juggling. In the video are some tricks I'm working on. Not extreme hard or anything, but nice to watch I think. Hopefully I can develop some really crazy tricks with this, feedback is welcome!

I was tired of my damn computer not being able to handle all the video clips I was using to work on my loooong in the making next big music juggling video, and so I decided to just make one using nothing but the club clips. So here we are! Enjoy me working with the prop I'm least skilled at!

Normally I'm not a fan of people posting their artistic research and normally I would never post anything that wasn't carefully edited. I have no idea why I'm posting this or who would find it interesting but I've been working on a new act and going through old video clips looking for forgotten ideas. This is literally 3:58 of pure improv. One late night, one shot, one song, an empty room, lot of caffeine, a little juggling and a few emotions. There are drops. There are moments that are self-indulgent and overdone. Technical jugglers you will not like this. You guys that are interested in pure process may find it interesting.

These can be done forwards and backwards. They arn't true elbow fishtails because there is only one beat of a fishtail at a time with other beats put in to get positioning. If anyone manages complete continuous elbow fishtails please let me know and i'll stick a vid up cos they are DAMN hard. The tricky bit of this move is getting your elbow across 180 fast enough to catch the fishtail but not so fast the staff flys off your elbow. (See also Elbow Fishtails)

The final part of the "Rhythm" trilogy, palm spinning as graphic manipulation.
I wanted to show also some new ideas that i work on, so some patterns are clean some are not.
New techniques used in here:
- quarter spins
- individual changes of the starting point (point of control)
- 1/8 spins (the diagonal spin-spin & anti-spin, the "cross" & the "X")
- perpendicular spin-spin and anti-spin
- advanced phantom patterns using the techniques above
In this video there are 2 Phantom Patterns analyzed in four different ways each (4 balls, 3 balls, 2 balls same colour and 2 balls different colour):

Russian passing troupe, with acrobatic balances. From Finnish TV series called "Russian Circus" approx 1990.
Most notable for the unusual version of the old "runaround with a hat" trick.
We think it may be an earlier generation of the Teslenkos.
Update: identified by Tesldima as "Semen Orlov, Yurij Bichkov, Anatolij Teslenko, Elina Teslenko"
