filzis devil stick routine

filzi

This is a part of the filzi kid-show. A very old school - clap your - hands - performance which always does well at the end of the show.

Wis en su tinta

Wis

Film made for a contest. Rules: - 40 seconds maximum - a red "sphere" should appear Malabares en su tinta is the best blog, http://www.malabaresensutinta.com/, about circus in Spanish, at least I like it a lot. Consequently more than 1000 times a mouse has clicked the always longed for 'like' button on facebook, https://www.facebook.com/malabaresensutinta. This is my contribution to the contest organized to celebrate it. The sexy camerawoman was: Agata Bednarz :* The amazing music is Earl by BadBadNotGood Recorded with a Oneplus One at 720p, forgot to change it :( The crime scene is: An old abandoned police building chosen this year to hold the periodic art exposition Survival. Survival happens once per year in Wrocław, a weekend. An old building or environment is filled with strange art, free entrance, the chance to see an abandoned closed place, drinking beer all around the place, juggling all around the place, and there are even DJs... I am the very model of a Modern British Juggler

MatthewTiffany

I am the very model of a modern British juggler, Experienced as thrower, catcher, balancer and spinner-er I know the lazy juggler and I quote the fights historical The loses of Jon peat to brook in order categorical. I’m very well acquainted too with matters mathematical I understand notations both the siteswap and beatmap-able About the other props you ask I’m teeming with a lot of news (hhhmmmm, lot of news, that’s a tough one) With many cheerful facts about what Kendama the Void will use. I’m very good at throwing high like DB97531 I know the algorithms and find rubix cube a lot of fun In short in matters thrower, catcher, balancer and spinner-er I am the very model of a modern British juggler. I know our mythic history Vid Warren in the renegade I saw Tom Derricks rosie cheeks those memories will never fade Out camping in the freezing cold it always seems to smell of grass I even read Jay Linn’s great post about that night with Chris passé passe.

Zircouplet-Performance 2011

Eastsidejuggler1

In August 2011 I had the great pleasure to meet Luke at the Zircouplet-Varieté in Berlin. He did a remarkable moderation and performed once again his unique juggling as well! He will always be remembered by me for his great sense of humor, his eloquent way of speaking and his marvellous art of creative juggling and magic!

When you start to see all that bullshit and games which people play and call them nice names, you can start feeling sick a little bit but see that understanding is not the way. Misunderstanding is empty. Where is the way??

Tricks With Hats: Full arm roll (backhand release)

TricksWithHats

Full arm roll (backhand release) - Roll the hat from hand to hand along outstretched arms Hold the hat with the crown back in an inside grip in your outstretched right hand. Flick the hat so that it spins up out of the back of your hand onto the arm and rolls across the back of the neck (make sure the head is ducked forward out of the way) and down the other arm. As the hat reaches the other wrist bend the hand up and catch it in a inside grip. Make sure the arms are sloped so that the hat is always rolling "downhill", and practice, practice, practice - this is a difficult trick. From the TricksWithHats archive

MiniEd

ponk

MiniEd - 4-person, extra-walking, period-6 MinuEd variation /nBase pattern: rotating PPSPPS feed, with C walking on 2 and A walking on 4; walking always on a left hand, clockwise Manipulation sequence as MinuEd without the zip-zip part; crossing pop helps to avoid clubbed heads/nNotation in video, underlining indicates walking/nPro tip: Pass to A on beat 1 should be aimed at M's head/n(This took us quite a few festivals to put together. Thanks for everybody who had the patience with me at MadFest, Mondo, Charlottesville, IJA, EJC, and Passout.)

If you like up the back passes this is the video for you! Also includes a little mandatory sprung madness and even some kendama tricks (always widening that horizon). Some of these clips were shot during my time in Cambodia so don't forget to take a look at that view as well! Enjoy :)

Tricks With Hats: One arm tumble

TricksWithHats

Hold the arm out to the side and move the head so that you are looking directly along the arm. Use the neck chop to knock the hat and a let it roll down the arm. Catch it with an inside grip. Raise the arm up and flick the hat back along it. Tuck the chin in beside the shoulder as the hat gets close and it will pop back onto the head. The key to this trick is to move your arm so that the hat is always rolling "downhill".
