This is a performance I put together for a dance show that my university does every semester where all the dance groups put together 3-4 minute routines. So I threw together a quick juggling dance routine, The performance was for non jugglers and at a dance show so its not all that technically advanced, but whatevs. . . Also I dropped a lot due to the fact that I was nervous as hell.

The first real day of spring. A steel door, monkey shirt and some hoop isolation. Some experiments with speed changes and hoop isolations so a lot of sloppy isos. hope you like it. Probably the last iso video in a while, i dropped my acrylic hoop and broke it :(

Interception line changes are immediate - the juggler and manipulator swap line before the next beat. So, even if it is a 1 beat intercept with a line instruction after it, the juggler and manipulator change lines first, then read the line change instruction afterwards. They follow both instructions, but the order is important. So if a manipulator line showed at the end of the line: iB => M the juggler who was B up until the last instruction becomes M because of the intercept (iB) and then they stay M because of the (=> M).

As another season draws to a close, it's time for another edit of strange and unusual kendama skills. As per usual, 90 minutes of filming, expertly trimmed down by Pete, who also provided his garden as a suitably autumnal backdrop. The title means My own LED Diabolos. I made these LED Kits by myself for a project at school. I am pretty happy with the result of it, because you can see the LEDs pretty good and the colour changing between red and green works fine. I am also glad that they don't break if you drop them which was my biggest fear at first.
I know that the tricks are not the greatest, but I couldn't do any 3d stuff because I only had the time to make 2 LED kits. Moreover it was dark, wet and cold outside and I couldn't see a lot.
Anyways enojy ;).

A good place to start before moving onto the steve. Do a neck roll and as the staff comes around onto your shoulder, drop that shoulder and let the staff roll onto your arm. Raise your arm with the staff (when the staff gets onto your arm it should be just below shoulder height, when the staff finnishes in your hand it should be just above head height) so that it rolls up it and into your hand.

After dropping stuff for years in the US, I took my juggling overseas, but alas. Gravity proved to be equally challenging all over the world. At least I found some beautiful backgrounds. I even cascaded (clubs) in front of a cascade (waterfall)!
Thanks to all who helped me film this stuff from 2002 to 2005. Thanks to Enya for this tune, "Storms in Africa" (sorry Ms Enya that I don't have Africa on here).
