Doreen was visiting Madrid for a couple of days, and we spent a rainy morning juggling patterns in my warehouse. Is amazing how time flies when you play this kind of funny things, and how fast you can juggle new patterns with the right partner. She is one of the best passers in the world, for sure! In addition, is amazing how we keep enjoying Préchac Transformation after all these years. We already played a lot of this patterns but there is still a universe out there... Full of new tricks to discover and customize.

We found it useful for the manipulator (who was the feeder for 1 and 2) to say 3 during the carry, for continuity. All the jugglers are re-labeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. Panto gets it's name from the pass from A to B on beat 1, the club is quite close to the back of the manipulators head (He's behind you!).

Lots of Juggling in this one, kind of a little warm up video after a break without many. We plan on getting back into it doing some more diabolo stuff, and making some more videos, some with special guests others in conventions so enjoy I juggle therefore I am, and keep an eye out for some new stuff.

Originally invented by Mushy Pea Steve this move was refered to as "that move Steve does" and became known simply as The Steve. Hold your arm out in front of you with the staff a little above your head. Spin the staff towards you so it will roll down your arm and release it just before the staff is pointing straight in front of you. As the staff rolls down your arm straighten your arm a little to allow a smoother roll and raise your arm up. When it gets to your shoulder raise that shoulder and drop the other so it keeps rolling. As it comes onto your second arm raise that arm with the staff to give it the momentum to get back to your hand.

Tricks keeping me busy for a long time... two or three times I got the 5stage shower pattern with 6 balls (j1f1b17131) but yet never finished it with a full collect. What goes up must come down!

A game branded as Gyro Ring in the past, here is a fabulously addicting prop composed of five brass washers (beads) strung onto a stainless steel ring. To activate this prop you spin the brass beads and turn the larger ring to keep them going in perpetual activity. The ring can then be manipulated in various ways to perform a large range of tricks! This is a improv set slowed to 1/2x. These rings were popular in Japan and New Zealand circa 1995-1997 but remained widely unknown to much of the rest of the world. Hold the hat by the brim with your left hand so that the crown of the hat is facing away from you. Take the stick in your right hand. With a flick of your wrist, throw the hat up slightly so that it starts spinning anti-clockwise. As the hat descends, hit the brim with the stick slightly to the right of center, such that the stick curves slightly upwards and outwards. This will cause the hat to spin as it rises into the air. As it descends again, repeat the hitting action. The idea of the basic spin is to keep the hat in the air by hitting it repeatedly with the stick in this manner. I find it helps if you look at the top portion of the inside of the hat. Adjusting the spin rate and direction: Hitting the hat nearer the center will give you a slower spin and more height, nearer the edge will give you a faster spin but less height. Obviously striking the left side of the brim will reverse the spin and cause the hat to go clockwise. From the TricksWithHats archive
