Ra Ra Zoo - Live at the Swan Theater

LP

Documentary/Showreel about British "new circus" troupe Ra Ra Zoo and their show "Live at the Swan Theater". Not sure about the date as I can't make that out at the end, but it's some time in the late 1980s-early 1990s I think. Video features what looks like a young Sean Gandini to me, which would make it pre-1992

chopped zig zag: Aidan Burns' Scrambled V Variation (cC sC iB)

westwolf

The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C". The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern. On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise). 1. "cC": The manipulator carries a club to C. 2. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a pass from A to C. 3. "iB": The manipulator (M) intercepts a the pass from A to B. The juggler who was B is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line. All the jugglers are relabeled and the new feeder starts counting the 3 passes. It´s easier for the manipulator tells AND 1 2 3 as the cC actually happens before count 1. also take a look at the original file: http://juggling.tv/15101

Merror - flow arts practise

ZuZ

When I train with mirrors, sometimes I check myself for how does it look like, searching for mistakes (errors) etc... So I decided to use this idea of looking into mirror as an improvisation exercise and I played more with the idea of consciously comunicating with "my other self" in the mirror as it was a living being. What are you searching for when you look in the mirror?

Trick With Hats - Vanishing Foot

TricksWithHats

This is surprisingly effective when done well, it can really look like your leg has dissapeared! Unfortunately it's very angle sensetive, it only really works when viewed from the front. Incase you can't work it out from the video, here's how you do it. Hold the hat by the brim, with the opening resting against the top of your thigh, move it down until it covers your foot and hides it from view. As you raise the hat again, bend your leg at the knee. Et voila! Your leg has vanished! Lower the hat again, straightening your leg as you do so. Ooh look! Your leg has re-appeared! Top tips: Only raise the hat as far as your knee, and keep your foot hidden behind your thigh. A few minutes practice infront of a mirror and you'll soon get the hang of it. Bonus points: Make both legs dissapear, at the same time...

Tricks With Hats: Throw to Foot

TricksWithHats

Throw to Foot - Throw the hat to your foot as if it was a hatstand. Hold the hat crown up above the shoulder with an inside grip. Lift the leg and keep it straight, flexing the foot as much as you can. With a flick of the wrist throw the hat straight to the foot with a single spin. This trick looks best if the throw is as straight as possible. Foot to Head is a nice return trick from here.

Tricks With Hats: Throw to Head

TricksWithHats

Hold your hat crown up in an inside grip with the fingers spread as wide as you can. Throw the hat gently towards your head with a bit of spin. Look up towards the hat as it spins and move your body (and feet if necessary) so that your head is beneath it. As the hat lands, nod your head forward so that you are looking straight ahead.

Tricks With Hats: Twiddled Big Circles

TricksWithHats

Twiddled Big Circles - A trickier but nicer version of Big Circles Big Circles is a big, visual trick, but the grip change can be slightly ungainly. The twiddle that this trick adds gives a similar effect but has a smoother, if slightly more difficult, change. Mike and LP disagree on the best way to do this - LP's way, shown in the video clip above, is to do a finger twiddle, as described in the Forward Twiddle when the hat is at the top of the circle. Mike uses a Thumb Spin to adjust the grip. Try both and decide which feels more comfortable to you, there's little point getting both smooth as they look identical to anyone except a hat manipulation geek, and there aren't many of them in the world! Tricks With Hats: Hat Spinning - Basic Spin

TricksWithHats

Hold the hat by the brim with your left hand so that the crown of the hat is facing away from you. Take the stick in your right hand. With a flick of your wrist, throw the hat up slightly so that it starts spinning anti-clockwise. As the hat descends, hit the brim with the stick slightly to the right of center, such that the stick curves slightly upwards and outwards. This will cause the hat to spin as it rises into the air. As it descends again, repeat the hitting action. The idea of the basic spin is to keep the hat in the air by hitting it repeatedly with the stick in this manner. I find it helps if you look at the top portion of the inside of the hat. Adjusting the spin rate and direction: Hitting the hat nearer the center will give you a slower spin and more height, nearer the edge will give you a faster spin but less height. Obviously striking the left side of the brim will reverse the spin and cause the hat to go clockwise. From the TricksWithHats archive

Suit & Tie Ball juggling & devilsticking

Swift707

3 Ball juggling and devilstick video I did to the song Suit & Tie by Justin Timberlake. I played around with a few different editing things to give it an old school feel. Routine/flow starts around 55 seconds or so. Check out my smoothness until once again I have a silly drop. Check it out, leave comments, follow me here or on youtube @ GregoryGazzano…just look up the name. Oh Remember to not where a suit and tie on a hot day! LOL

Soliloquy Outcomes

lucasadverse

This video contains my latest ideas including some little experimentation with choreography and clubs. This time, I'm not mentioning any inspirations (although I obviously have inspirations in my style) due to the fact that I decided to exclusively include original ideas (except for the 5BBB). I hope you don't laugh at my clubs because they look small and noobish haha, it's 'cause I bought them when I first started juggling and I don't have other clubs D: Music: The music used in the video is from the glitch hop duo KOAN Sound. I'd like to thank them a ton for giving me the permission to use their music in the video, especially to their manager Tom Riley who was cool enough not to ignore my request. Tracklist: KOAN Sound - 7th Dimension KOAN Sound - Happy Hipsters Props: Norwiks. Location: Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Thanks for watching.

3 balls splitting in different directions

hexagonic

I've finally worked out a relatively consistent way of doing this - it's a three ball split in that all three balls split in different directions. Feels better than it looks. Have repeated it a few times so don't worry if you blink at the wrong moment.

BBB retirement

Emman

I deeply love bbb but I had to stop practicing it long ago (2008) due to sustained wrist injuries and alas there is no videos of me in my prime. Adam inspired me to film a few old tricks at Turbo so tonight I grabbed my balls for the first time since 2011 and tried to film them. I managed to learn a new one and do another one for the first time ever! This video contains those, a few old 3bbb tricks and a few 4bbb clips from 2011 when I failed to start seriously again (you can see the evolution of my beard)./n It's been a pleasure to see the new kids push the boundaries and I have no regret, thanks to my injuries I've started rings and rarely look back upon my bbb days even though they were amazing moments. So it's with no shame that I announce my official retirement from the bbb world, have fun doing it, I'll the happy to join you for a few seconds once in a while. /nThanks a lot for all your support in my challenge with Norbi, I've got 90 new suscribers in 3 days and 700 to go in 10 days! New video tomorro
