I deeply love bbb but I had to stop practicing it long ago (2008) due to sustained wrist injuries and alas there is no videos of me in my prime.
Adam inspired me to film a few old tricks at Turbo so tonight I grabbed my balls for the first time since 2011 and tried to film them. I managed to learn a new one and do another one for the first time ever! This video contains those, a few old 3bbb tricks and a few 4bbb clips from 2011 when I failed to start seriously again (you can see the evolution of my beard)./n It's been a pleasure to see the new kids push the boundaries and I have no regret, thanks to my injuries I've started rings and rarely look back upon my bbb days even though they were amazing moments. So it's with no shame that I announce my official retirement from the bbb world, have fun doing it, I'll the happy to join you for a few seconds once in a while. /nThanks a lot for all your support in my challenge with Norbi, I've got 90 new suscribers in 3 days and 700 to go in 10 days! This is the first of the "Cate Emily" videos. I give the title Cate Emily to videos that I feel make a statement about me. In other words something more serious than a quick practice video. I actually never even called myself "Cate Emily" until I made this video, but it started to stick, so I went with it...
The title is true by the way, I went off my medication (anti-depressants actually, but Ritalin is more catchy) and made this video in a four day burst of caffeine/ADD fueled burst of mania. Bet you didn't know that, huh?

Alex and I do a sequence where the 3 green clubs are isolated in 4 different patterns.
Start off with 7-club 3-count with the passes green.
Then do 8677867 with the passes as green.
Then 978 versus 972 with double passes as green.
Then 551 popcorn (a2a67) versus 5 count popcorn with trelfs as green.
Then back to 7 club 3-count.
As they are all ground state, the first 2 switches just work, and doing:
966|7867867 for the first
7867867|978972 for the second
preserves the colours.
For the third, to keep the colours we did three transition throws:
978972|867|a66a7a6267
For the fourth transition, to keep the colours we did:
a66a7a6267a66a7|b6266|966
I'd love to see similar ideas!

I'm Toddington from the UK. I started up Diabolo 9 months ago when I started travelling Sri Lanka and India. The internet was terrible so I've been learning from books until now. I'm back if anyone remembers me. I took a year long hiatus cause of school, other hobbies but mainly because I lost interest. After coming on randomly and watching some videos a little while back I was inspired to start diaboloing again (the limits of diabolos have been pushed a ridiculous amount this past year...). So this vid is just a coming back vid of some stuff from the past couple days of practice that I filmed. I also threw in some stuff that I've learned over the past year at the end of the video.

A good place to start before moving onto the steve. Do a neck roll and as the staff comes around onto your shoulder, drop that shoulder and let the staff roll onto your arm. Raise your arm with the staff (when the staff gets onto your arm it should be just below shoulder height, when the staff finnishes in your hand it should be just above head height) so that it rolls up it and into your hand.

At Central Michigan University last spring, I started the Circus Arts Club. Quite a few of our members had never even picked up any circus hobby before joining the club. We've all made a lot of great friends and have had a ton of fun! It's a great time!
