This is the first of many videos to come by 2 cups and an axle. It consists of Chris (diaboloist + juggler), Marc (diaboloist) and Zack (diaboloist) who have been diaboloing for 7 months and Josh (juggler) who has been juggling for just over a year. We are all 14 and are two sets of twins that go to Hullabaloo in Leeds. Please don’t hesitate to post your view about our first video and tell us how we could improve it. A circus performance my friend and I performed in circus class last term. We have still yet to perform it to an audience this term.
The basci story line is that I (the kid with blonde hair starting on stage) am doing some diabolo tricks. My friend (dark haired guy) walks on and sees me. He trys to show me up by juggling but fails (on purpose). I show him up again, and he steals my diabolo (twice) then he grabs some staffs. We fight, he "beats me", but then I get pu and finish him with the diabolo and do a final trick. ENJOY! :DDD/nP.S. The reason I ran off stage quickly was to grab a diabolo which rolled off stage. Sorry for the 2 fails (diabolo ones).

A tiny bit easier than a matrix because you are turning into the staff. Look at the points you need to start turning, they are when you start leaning back to get it under the arm. Again very hard to get smooth.

The matrix. It's hard. That's why everyone loves it. You can do the matirx in 2 ways, starting on the neck like I do or starting on the shoulder like meg does here. To distinguish the difference I call this version a full matrix because it goes fully around your body and not just under both arms. I personally prefer the full matrix (well I would wouldn't I) because I think it looks nicer but it's all a matter of oppinion. The secret to getting a matrix is to really lean. It takes a while to get and takes even longer (a lot longer) to get it solid. As with everything practice, practice, practice.

These are a nice varient of conveyor belts. First learn to do continuous. When the staff is falling off your last elbow, raise that elbow and bring your other elbow underneath to catch it by sort of hugging yourself. Give the staff a bit of a pop as it comes off so as to give yourself a little more time to catch it. When you've got that add the antispin by moving each point of the move to the antispin points (watch the video).
