I noticed Juggling.TV has better quality, and it's important for these videos, because the scenery is not only carefully selected, it is VERY hard to get to sometimes (part of this is in Finse, Norway!)

The hatstand made its debut at chocfest 7, where I was compering. After a period of prototyping and refining, I built the version that worked. I demoed this a couple of times then it broke. I replaced the elastic and set it up for the big day, used it on stage and it worked, then broke next time I used it.
Be prepared to spend significant tinkering time in between uses, and for frequent breakdowns. That said, it's never let me down when I've needed it.
All in all I've found it a great way to get chicks[1], if you don't count the long evenings spent honing the design and strewing the house with geeky construction equipment, and the fact you'll be laughed out of most nightclubs if you go in wearing a topper. But on stage it works, and it has drawn admiring glances from fellow jugglers and even won us a bag full of croissants on one occasion.

Zak has been teaching himself the Devil Sticks and is getting pretty good even though he's still at junior school. He's learned all these tricks by the ripe old age of 10 after owning a set for 3 years, practising occasionally! He doesn't think he's good enough to put on juggling .tv yet, so your feedback would be appreciated.

This is my BYJOTY juggling act for 2016, which was my final year of entering since I'm currently 20 years old. This routine won me the title of the British Young Juggler of the Year and the silver award of the competition./nI met some great people who also entered the competition with amazing acts, who you should also check out: Luke Davies, Max Hodgkinson, Lucy Cobb, Adam Church and Nathaniel!/nThanks to Marc Cabry and Josh Turner for filming this for me! Going through as many variations of finger stall that I can think of. In a few cases I just did the index and middle fingers as putting them all in would take forever and be pretty boring to watch too. If anyone has any more ideas for different stalls let me know please!
