New Mexico Pump Jack Yo-Yo Trick is a repeating combination of Shoot the Moon and Over the Falls. The yo-yo used in the demonstration by Luke Renner is a fixed metal axle Duncan Wheel. Special thanks to Bill who performed a variation of this trick along with many others during late night string slinging at the 2011 National Yo-Yo Contest. A game branded as Gyro Ring in the past, here is a fabulously addicting prop composed of five brass washers (beads) strung onto a stainless steel ring.
To activate this prop you spin the brass beads and turn the larger ring to keep them going in perpetual activity. The ring can then be manipulated in various ways to perform a large range of tricks! This is a improv set slowed to 1/2x.
These rings were popular in Japan and New Zealand circa 1995-1997 but remained widely unknown to much of the rest of the world. A small selection of high quality rings are available online at my website SlingTrue.org

This is a trick more commonly done with clubs, diabolos, or devil sticks but I think it translates nicely with cigar boxes. These are just a few of the many possible variations that I'm working on.

The feeder is "A", the juggler to the feeder's left is "B" and the juggler to the feeder's right is "C".
The feeder counts "1 2 3" to make it easier to keep track of where we are in the pattern.
On beats 1 and 3, A (the feeder) and B exchange a pass. On beat 2, A and C exchange a pass. On 3, juggler B catches the pass and walks on four count (rotating the positions anti-clockwise).
1. "iC": The manipulator (M) intercepts the pass from A to C. The juggler who was C is the new manipulator, and reads from the manipulator line.
2. "cA": The manipulator substitutes a _pass_ from A to B.
3. "sC": The manipulator substitutes a _self_ from C (to C).
The passes _from_ the feeder are not manipulated, the feeder does only normal pass throws to B, C, B

Had to film something before the winter's coming.
I didn't practice any numbers lately, so this is mostly a technical 1d, 2d video.
Just some integral combos I like, only a few tricks are really new.
P.S. Not all clips are at best quality, since I had some issues with the rendering (I was dumb enough to film at two framerates :( ). The quality on YouTube is better.

I have recently purchased these cotton gloves, it does make it had to manlipulate things due to lack of friction, but fun none the less.
This little vid was to see what things look like for audience's point of view.
